Nach dem bierfreien Januar habe ich es in der letzten Woche mal wieder geschafft, ein neues Bier auszuprobieren. Bevor ich aber dazu komme, euch von dem Bier zu berichten, wollte ich euch noch ein Geschenk meiner Frau zeigen das ich zu Weihnachten geschenkt bekommen habe.

Meine Frau hatte da aber eine andere Idee und so schenkte sie mir zu Weihnachten ein Sammelalbum für Kronkorken. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt wäre ich gar nicht darauf gekommen, das es so etwas gibt.

Beim Öffnen der Dose kommt einem schon ein fruchtiger Duft entgegen. Typisch für ein IPA aber in diesem Fall ist er sehr ausgeprägt. Man riecht vor allem tropische Früchte.
Aus der Dose befreit, präsentiert sich das IPA in einem schönen trüben Mais-Gelb mit einer satten schneeweißen Schaumkrone.

Nicht nur das Design der Dose ist ein Knüller, auch geschmacklich ist das New England IPA eine echte Granate. Sehr fruchtig und mit einer leichten Hopfennote, vielleicht etwas zu mild, aber sehr süffig.

Mit den bisherigen Kronkorken konnte ich knapp zwei Seiten füllen. Zwei weitere Seiten bleiben noch übrig. Mal sehen, wie lange ich dafür brauche.

Das "Bon Chef" kosete € 2,65 und ist jeden Cent davon Wert. Für jemanden der gerne ein IPA trink ist es sehr zu empfehlen. Auch für Einsteiger ist es zu empfehlen da es sehr mild und süffig ist.
Das Bier habe ich in einem Supermarkt in Nijmegen gekauft. Im Regal standen noch weitere Biersorten die darauf warten, das ich mich hieran bediene. Leider habe ich im bierfreien Januar nur eine Dose mitgenommen. Aber beim nächsten Besuch werden es bestimmt mehr.
