You don't know how hard to babysit a toddler when you have not got to experience being one. Hello, my dear fabulous fellow hivers of this amazing community. How is everything going? May all of us here be fine and in good health as well.
At this point, I'm gonna share with you the journey of my husband being the babysitter of our 2-year-old son for a day! Let us see how it goes if he survives or not. Common, join me as I am about to tell you a story of a father and son moment together.
There is a small village in our place where we usually live when my husband is off for vacation. Early in the morning, our son loves to go outside and play there. There are no other toddlers on our block which is why he used to play by himself in the middle of the road. Don't you worry, the place is safe for my son? Yes, aside from that we keep our eyes on him whenever he went outside.
BREAKFAST TIME...
By the way, before our son didn't know what is rice. He only ate Gerber and Cerelac during his weaning time. Thanks to his dada when he came home 2 years after he introduced rice to our son and yes from there our son will eat rice then. From such an experience, I learned that the next time around when we have a baby again I will introduce the rice to him/her as earlier as possible so that it's not difficult anymore for the child to be acquainted with it.
Since our son gets bored inside the house. They went out and play hide and seek. Upon looking at my husband and son, more realizations came to my mind. Indeed, God is always good for having them in my life. Sometimes I ask God am I deserve to have them. Hmmm, I just feel so blessed. I hope and pray that whatever happens everything will be okay with God's grace.
JUST WANNA FLEX MY HUSBAND'S WORK...
Aside from he can be counted on babysitting our son, he is also talented at making these grills. He is very skilled when making it, no question about that. He only thought that if he will be the one to make it, we can save money. And with the money intended for it, we can buy food instead. He intentionally indicates the letter H and M at the center of the grills implying the first letters of our names (so sweet though).
LUNCH TIME...
I am a thoughtful wife, so I treat them outside for us to eat there. But when we were there, so many customers were looking for a place to eat. What we did was we just made an order and take it out. While waiting for the food to serve, my husband let our son drink his milk. Look at them, my husband did his duty to be the babysitter to our son.
After drinking his milk, he loves playing with these character balloons sold by a young man. And as usual, his dada bought one for him. But in the end, our son looks for another character. He was not in a good mood so we went home after. He was sleepy as well.
DINNER TIME...
Yehey, the day has come to an end. It's dinner time. The viand we have for our son was a soup with shrimp in it and fish. We were very thankful that our son is not so picky when it comes to our viand. Whatever is there, he also eats it.
Vitamins for our children are a must. Weather nowadays is unpredictable, we must do something for our children not for their immune systems to be weakened. That's what his dada was doing. He was able to drink our son his vitamin. Indeed, aside from food, vitamins are needed to suffice what is lacking in our body.
Right after taking his vitamins, his dada brushed his teeth. Before, this was my struggle I couldn't make him stop moving. We have taught him how to brush his teeth but at his age right now, we don't trust that he can do it properly. That is why his dada was the one doing it.
Hooray for today! My husband did it very well. I don't have any bad comments about his performance. He said it was a piece of cake for him. I just couldn't imagine that he has very long patience dealing with our son. It's rare for men to have a heart for babysitting a child. But my husband is exemplary. He is one of a kind. As always, words are not enough to say thank you to him. To God be the Glory!
That's all for today's blog hiveians! Thank you for reading this. May God bless us always..Until next time, see you around 💓.
