Kilala mo ba ang Diyos? Sino si Hesus para sa iyo? Do you know that He is a God who gives and gives and gives even until the very end of His life, the last drop of His blood?

Many people today do not know how to give of themselves to others. Ganyan ako sa mahabang panahon, even now di ko pa rin naaalis yan completely. Puro sarili lang iniisip. Bakit? Bihira kasi ituro eh! Generosity begins at home di ba? E kung rare mo marinig at makita growing up e di paano mo matututunan?
But through God's grace we can be givers eventually and not just takers who always think, "What's in it for me?" Hindi kasi yan ang dapat tinatanong natin. We can start with, "Why would I give myself to others? Why would I do this or that for so and so?" Then eventually we may get to, "I should give myself to others." It takes time, lots of time and sometimes until the end of life, before we can realize this without God's help.
👉As adults we always want to know what's the benefit we can get, user friendly palagi.
In reality, that's the abuse of the rule actually. This is why I ditched that mindset years ago because it turned me and many people into someone na mapaghiganti palagi rather than good people. It's become like "an eye for an eye," and it's not a good life motto at all kapag kabaliktaran lagi ang iniisip natin. I will do to you whatever you do to me." Maling-mali di ba?
However despite removing it from my mind as a motto matagal na it's only this year that I realized the second level ng kasagwaan ng ganyang ugali. Napakapangit pala tlga. It's not something a good and true Christian should do at all.
Easy.
How abt you? What can you say abt the priest quote?

Do you know God? Who is Jesus for you? Do you know that He is a God who gives and gives and gives even until the very end of His life, to the last drop of His blood? Even if you don't love Him, He will still give to you. Even if you trample on His name and break His images, He still loves you. Even now that Jesus is in Heaven, He still gives Himself to everyone, every day, every hour in masses all over the world!!!
God is so generous but we are all complaining about life!!! We don't even know how to be grateful, we have a hard time and are so lazy to go to church! That's all you need to do once a week, but people go late, and rarely use the mouth and even sleep through the homily but with gossip and chatter you can go forever!
👉We owe God so much but no one ever thinks of repaying Him. We just keep asking and asking! Look at the Philippines (and the world) today, it is very rare for people to know how to be grateful to God!!! They are the ones raging even though they are to blame for what is happening in their lives.

Many people today do not know how to give of themselves to others. I have been like that for a long time, even now I still can't get rid of that completely. I only think about myself. Why? Because it is rarely taught! Generosity begins at home, right? Then it can also be learned in school, but that's it. And if you rarely hear and see it growing up, how can you learn it?
If the mindset you were raised with at home is all lack and poverty + victim mentality AND God is not in your life, how do you think you can be generous to others? How indeed?
But through God's grace we can be givers eventually and not just takers who always think, "What's in it for me?" That's not what we should be asking. We can start with, "Why would I give myself to others? Why would I do this or that for so and so?" Then eventually we may get to, "I should give myself to others." It takes time, lots of time and sometimes until the end of life, before we can realize this without God's help.
👉As adults we always want to know what's the benefit we can get, always user friendly. When you have that mindset you never give anything for nothing. You always demand anything because you lost something, you made an effort, you struggled to give time, money, energy, whatever and you get nothing?!? YOU ALWAYS WANT TO GET SOMETHING IN EXCHANGE (but you don't give to God)! Even if you say it's you helped others, you still always want to get something from them no matter what it is. Golden Rule, right? Retribution is the key.
In reality, that's the abuse of the rule actually. This is why I ditched that mindset years ago because it turned me and many people into someone who is always vindictive rather than good people. It's become like "an eye for an eye," and it's not a good life motto at all when we always think the opposite. People who follow the Golden Rule often always turn it upside down because their mindset is, "I will do to you whatever you do to me." See how wrong it is?
However despite removing it from my mind as a motto after a long time it's only this year that I realized the second level of the evil of that attitude. It's really ugly. It's not something a good and true Christian should do at all.
God always gives blessings even to corrupt people and rapists or those who committed abortion/s but we don't want to give any good to others without anything return? Why? Read it in the Bible so this doesn't get any longer: Luke 6:32-34. Easy.
