Good day, Hivers. I am Chianelle, and I am happy to share a little part of myself with all of you. I have always been a cheerful person, and I believe that expressing myself openly is one way of showing appreciation for life. I want to tell my story in the most humble and honest way possible, so let me begin by introducing my personality and the things that define me.
I am the type of person who tends to mirror the energy that others show me. When someone treats me kindly, I give that same kindness back. But when someone disrespects me, I also know when to step back. I used to be someone who tried too hard to please everyone. I would beg for friendship and attention just to feel accepted. Over time, I realized that this kind of behavior only hurt me more. I learned my lesson through difficult experiences that taught me the value of self-respect. Now, I have learned to set healthy boundaries. I do not mean this in a negative way because I have come to understand that setting boundaries is actually an act of self-love. It helps me protect my peace and energy while still being kind to others.
Another thing about me is that I give great importance to my private matters. I rarely share my personal problems, even with close friends and family. This is not because I do not trust them, but because I want to protect the things that are important to me. I believe that some things are better kept within ourselves to avoid unnecessary opinions or misunderstandings. Keeping things to myself gives me a sense of control and peace of mind.
Since I tend to keep my thoughts and emotions private, I often write them down in my journal or in the notes app on my phone. Writing has always been my way of releasing heavy emotions. When I feel sad and burdened, I write everything down to ease my thoughts and lighten the weight I carry. It feels comforting to see my emotions written out, as if they are slowly leaving my chest. Being alone does not bother me either. In fact, I often prefer it. I find peace in being alone because it gives me the time to reconnect with myself.
One of my favorite hobbies is playing the lyre in our school organization called DLBC. Playing the lyre has always been a relaxing and enjoyable activity for me. Every time I hit the right note, I feel a sense of satisfaction. It also helps me focus and express my emotions, and also teaches me patience and discipline. It taught me that progress takes time and that every small improvement matters.
Through this hobby, I also met new friends who share the same interest. They are the ones I can rely on whenever I struggle with certain notes or techniques. They patiently guide and help me learn when I cannot get a melody right. Having them around makes learning more enjoyable because we share laughter and support while practicing together. It feels good to know that music not only gave me peace but also genuine friendships.
Aside from music, I also have a strong interest in makeup. I find joy and relaxation in learning different makeup styles during my free time. Doing makeup allows me to express my creativity and boost my confidence. It has become a part of my daily routine, to the point where I rarely leave the house without it. Makeup, for me, is not just about appearance. It is a way of showing self-care and creativity. Every brush stroke gives me comfort and helps me feel more like myself.
I discovered Hive because of . One day, while we were having a conversation, she shared how much fun she was having here. She told me about the many people she met and interacted with on this platform, and how she learned new things from them. Hearing her experiences inspired me to try it as well. Since I have always been open to new experiences and I love writing, I thought Hive would be a great opportunity for me to explore and grow. Her stories made me realize that this platform is not only for sharing but also for learning and connecting with others from different places.
I would also like to express my gratitude to for helping me create my Hive account. It is such an honor to be part of this wonderful community. I truly appreciate the time and effort she spent guiding me and giving reminders about how to use this platform properly. I am thankful for her advice, which I will keep in mind as I continue this journey. I would this opportunity wisely and share my thoughts in a meaningful way.
This introduction sums up a big part of who I am, and of course, there are still many things I have not mentioned, and there are sides o
