TWIN ISLAND BEACH in PAGUDPUD, ILOCOS NORTE PHILIPPINES
Finally, we reached the last destination of our first day in Ilocos and that was in an apartment or a beach house along Maira-ira Beach Road in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. But this blog is not about the apartment, it is about the Blue Lagoon Beach and our very chill moments in the beach.
We immediately change our clothes to our swimwear because our goal was to be dipping ourselves to the salt water before the sun sets. Grace and Ann wore their twinning swimsuits, while France and I just wore our shorts.
We were so lucky that the apartment that accomodated us was just thirty-second walk to the beach. So, when we were ready, we headed to the beach.
It was low tide so we decided not to go swimming. Grace was also hesistant when she realized that it was a very open sea, South China Sea to be exact. I told her that it was safe, but she was decided to suspend the swimming.
So, the four of us just enjoyed the view, talked about our day, and did a lot of photoshoot for our wives right in the beach. The bright blue sky paired with the cotton-like clouds above, the strong green color of the mountains and the blue scenic waters of the lagoon made the view spectacular.
I was having a great time taking picture of the beautiful scenery before my eyes. I couldn't imagine that I have reach this far in the country and enjoy the beauty of my country.
I already asked permission from my wife that I will be posting her photos in Hive and I am so glad that she gave me her consent. I wanted to do this because her beauty really matches the quiet, mysterious, but undeniably beautiful scene.
We looked for random inspirations in the internet on how to pose and take the picture on the beach. And I think we did really great. My wife looks very stunning and on the background, the mystic blue lagoon of Ilocos.
Looking at these photos now, I felt great that I had convinced my wife to pose. She likes to be photographed but she wants to pose one time only in one place not multiple times.
During that time, Ann and France were also doing their pictorials. When they were through, I asked Ann to pose with Grace because they looked really cute in their twinning swimsuit. Ann joyfully responded, of course because they are cousins, high school batchmates, and college classmates.
But after taking one photo, I realized that the standing pose looked boring and common. So, I asked the two to move backwards, and walked towards me while chatting and laughing. And the result was these...
Boom! The photos of them looked so amazing! They looked like celebrities. Both of them were also very happy of my shots. I was feeling very proud of myself as well.
Anyway, since we decided not to go swimming, we just headed to our rooms and changed clothes. We were told by the locals that the sunset here is really beautiful, so I told myself to be ready for that.
