Hello, Hivers! I apologize I have been inactive for a few days due to my recent busy schedule. My family and I traveled to the province. And when we arrived, I also felt sick because of our trip; my head hurts when I'm I look at my cellphone, so I took a break. I hope you understand and I'll get back here now.
We traveled by bus to the ferry terminal,we arrived at five in the afternoon but we still had to wait two-hours before the ferry left.
It was already six o'clock in the evening when we boarded the ship.
Upon boarding the ship, the crew will escort us to the passenger cabin.
This is the ship's sleeping quarters in the upper double deck. When passengers arrive, they can choose a berth based on where they want to be and what is comfortable.
After we finished packing up our things for the night, my husband, brother and I went out of the ship to look around. And this is what I saw outside: other ships lined up to wait for other passengers like us to return to our homes.
My son was excited and happy to walk around the ship; his father was holding him, and they walked around the entire cabin where we slept, and whenever he passed by people, he wasn't shy to look at them, while his father was very tired followed him wherever he wanted to go.π
While my husband and son were busy walking around, my brother and I didn't miss taking pictures with the ship in the background. Lol
After walking around the ship, we ate, and the ship left at 7:30 p.m.
This is what you see outside as the ship sails far away from the city; all you see are the waves and the vast ocean, with the lights of the other place visible in the distance. The shops that meet us are returning to the location we left. There are also some smaller boats.
I had a hard time getting my son to sleep because the ship was noisy, it was hot inside, and he was also restless during our trip because it was his first time on a ship. So I cuddled him on the side of the ship because it was windy there, and he slept well. Around 1 a.m., my husband changed me so I could sleep too.
I was hungry at 3 a.m., so my husband bought me cup noodles from the ship's canteen for 70 pesos. Things are very expensive inside the ship, you really have to buy necessities like water, coffee, biscuits, cup noodles, and other things you want to eat while on the trip because the cost of your needs here doubles or triples. Lol
3:00 am Saturday morning, the wind, rain, and sea waves increased, but we were almost at Caticlan port. A rainstorm was also expected that day, so all busy trips were cancelled. I'm grateful that we arrived safely in Caticlan.
We got back on the bus at 4:56 am. I'm relieved because our ship trip is over, and we still need to travel five hours to our house to rest. This trip was tiring, but it was worth it because we arrived safely. π
That's all for today. Thankyou for your unwavering support of my post! Peace and Love. π«Άπ»
