“Strong families cultivate an attribute of effective communication. They talk out their problems, make plans together, and cooperate toward common objectives”- Ezra Taft Benson
When someone invites me for dinner, It's my pride and honor that I am invited. I might say, that I belong or am part of the family, especially if it's a special occasion. So, as much as possible, if I have time, I will attend to an invitation to show courtesy and respect to the one who invited me. Likewise, when I invite someone for dinner, I want that I will be attended too. So, my dear hive friends, in this blog, I want to share with you the new beach I discovered due to an invitation from my cousins-in-law when she was celebrating her 40th birthday last June 24, 2023.
The dinner will be held at Hidden Beach Resort, Siocion, Bogo City, Cebu. On that day I had an important appointment to attend with. So, my husband and I agreed that I will follow them during lunchtime. I will just ask a favor from my brother-in-law to take me to the venue of our cousin's beach party. It's quite good since my brother-in-law is free on that day.
Siocon is one of the remote barangay in Bogo City, Cebu. This was my first time traveling to this place even if it is just 30 to 40 minutes of travel from my hometown to Siocon. I am not also a traveler by nature so the place is quite strange for me. That's why I'm curious or wondered why they called this place a Hidden Paradise.
How to get there
From Bogo, you will ride a tricycle, private car, or motorcycle. Then you will pass these two barangays; Gairan and Nailon. From Nailon it's only more or less 3 kilometers away from Siocon or more or less 10 minutes of travel. Upon reaching the end or boundary of cemented road, you will see a store with video-k.On the Left side, there was a well-fenced and well-landscaped house. Beside the fence of the house, you will traverse a small pathway going to the so beach called Hidden Paradise. Therefore this is the reason why they called it Hidden since you can't locate the beach if you are a stranger in this plac
The Beach
It took more or less 5 minutes of walking before I arrived at the Beach. When I arrived, I just stood in front and observed a lot of people having a party. I was shocked while roaming around because the beach was fully occupied by the beachgoer. It was then that I realized that day June 24, was the day of Saint John the Baptist. During his Day many people loved to go to the beach for swimming as one way of remembering Saint John who baptized Jesus in the Jordan River.
The Amazing Views of the Beach
The beach is cool since it was surrounded by trees and coconut. Even if there was no cottage but people used to bring a tent, mat, swing, table, and chairs. In shoreline is so wide that can accommodate hundreds of families. The sea waves that kissed the shoreline were so tempting and inviting. Many divers or swimmers were enjoying themselves. They were eating, and drinking and some were riding a boat and motorboat.
That's all for this blog. I hope you enjoy reading and learn something from this. Thank you and Have a nice day!
