Saturday, it was market day in my area. This is the time when we need to offer our products to the people on the free market.
I woke up early and Bob was already on my hammock. He went to my house after his evening work. I asked him if he can help us selling our lettuces to the free market. And no hesitation, he agreed to help us. And there he was.
He just woke up after hearing me that I was already awake. I prepared coffee for us while waiting for Nick.
Nick arrived after an hour. And we prepared our products.
I only have 2 containers for us to carry to the free market. Each container only fits 6 heads of lettuces. And we just need to go back home to get other lettuces if we sold all that we carried.
Free market is just a 5-minute away from my house.
We just placed our products on a side of the street. Offering the walking customers and giving them information about our lettuces.
I'm sorry that this will be the last photo. We didn't expect that the support and interest of buyers to our product is overwhelmed. Most of our buyers are old people and plant lovers.
I mostly giving information to the customers because I'm the one who totally know our product. Giving them info about how we raised it and how they can still take care of the plant for them to continously harvest lettuce for the next days or weeks.
And for that, I already forgot to take pictures again. We went back home to get more lettuces to sell. And we only sold it out for less than 2 hours.
After selling, we have to celebrate the weekend as usual. I teach my friends on how I make my own recipe of pesto.
This is our friend Jorj. He also followed us on the market after he got out from his work.
After I prepared the first pesto, I let them do the rest of our pesto.
And the drinking session starts as I said our usual weekends.
Thanks for reading my post.
Have a nice day ahead of us.
Good morning.
