What’s up Hive! It is me again 
The first fast food that I visited first is Jollibee, followed by Dunkin Donut.
Before going to the seminar, my son, nephew, and nieces ask favor from me to buy for them a chicken joy (fried chicken) from Jollibee and donuts or munchkins from Dunkin Donut.
It makes me smile seeing the kids in our house happy and excited for me to go home every time I went to the city. I always bring something nice for them when I have extra money. They always wait for me also near the street after knowing that I am almost home. The smile on their faces and their excitement relieves my stress and makes me forget my problem in life.
After buying foods for the kids, I just roam around the mall, window shopping. The bouquet of flowers on the stand catches my attention, the flower arrangement and the combination.
I never receive a bouquet of flowers. I am visualizing how it feels to receive a bouquet of flowers from someone special. How it feels to be treated special. How it feels to be considered as important person.
Next, I went to SM Appliances and look at the different display. They have different brands of giant TV, laptops, speaker or audio, different models and brands of kitchen appliances like gas range, stove, oven, and many more. All appliances that you need at home are available in their store. Then, I just walk on the lobby of the mall and explore the whole area of the shopping center. It is too wide and a lot of shops. They even have gym inside.
Most of the branded items are obtainable inside the mall.
They also have different fast foods such as McDonalds, Chowking, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Orange Brutus, Yellow cab, Shakey’s, Greenwich Pizza, and Pizza Hut. You will be surprised because there is a lot of fast food chain inside.
When it comes to restaurant, they also have Vikings, Choobi Choobi. You can have a lot of choices.The restaurant is all over the mall.
When it comes to bakeshop, they have Bread Talk, Leona’s, French Baker, Baked fresh.
If you feel hungry and thirsty while roaming and shopping,you do not have to worry and rush going to the food court.There are food carts in any corner of the mall like Moshi Manju, Thirsty, Turks, Tiger sugar, Master Siomai, and many more.
The mall also have Pet shop, Party shop like Hannah’s, Pharmacy like Watson’s and Rose pharmacy, Book store and school supplies like National Bookstore and Expression, Sports and Recreational Equipment like Toby’s or Decathlon, Supermarket, Play house and a Fun World for the kids, Hardware Tools in Ace hardware, and many more shops that sell your needs and wants.
Then, I went to the food court of the mall to eat the yum burger and coke float that I bought from Jollibee. I just sit down over there for a while and observe the surroundings. I still like to roam around the mall, however I am bringing a heavy back pack and a laptop bag with full of stuff inside. So, I decided to just sit down and watch the people eating, buying, and walking on the area.
I love the countryside, but I also missed the food and the life in the city because I live in the city before when I was in college. I remembered the last time that I went on the mall was last September 2023 and it is my birthday. People in the mall were eyeing at me because I am bringing a huge back pack and on the top of that, I am so wet by the rain. I really thought that the guard of the mall will not let me get in. I decided to drop after attended a training and seminar on Higher Order Thinking Skills on Professional Learning Packages for Mathematics, Science, and English (HOTS PLPs) at EcoTech in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu.
I just went there to eat and celebrate my birthday and then, buy foods for everybody especially for the kids such as cakes in Red Ribbon, fried chicken in Jollibee, and donuts in Dunkin Donut, then just go home. I do not even have time and allocate a budget to buy something nice for myself as a gift.
I have a lot of reflection while sitting down on the food court, my regrets in life, the wrong decision that I have, the incorrect choices, all my mistakes in life, and the right thing that I should supposedly do. I worked harder to put food on our table, provide the needs of my family as best as I can; however I do not have time for myself. How I wish I could have enough time and a chance to reward myself.
After the reflection, I wander around again and thinking when will be the next time that I could drop and visit the mall again. I enjoyed watching the kids riding a train on the ground floor and I am planning to also bring my son, nephew, and nieces on the mall so they can have an experience playing in a play house and riding the big toy train on the ground floor of the mall. I appreciated the summer decoration of the mall and I also took pictures of it. Then, I decided to go home.
I just walk going to the North Bus Terminal with my heavy stuff because it is just near. It is located on the side of the Mall in front of the mall’s parking area. And it is a good thing that when I arrived on the terminal, there is already a bus route to my hometown.
