Hello Hivers! It’s me again Doughnahhh and I'm back with another blog series, I’m very excited to share this tour of mine with you all!

Last week, I am visited the beautiful island of Bantayan together with my coworker and slush friend of mine and other guests, and trust me it was an experience very worth telling. From the moment I stepped off in the boat, even though it was still on our way to the port. I knew this trip was going to be fun. The cozy and warm breeze going there is making our trip smoother and the clear blue waters and the very peaceful island vibe instantly made me amazed and fall in love.
So today I’m bringing all of you along with me and I'm going to share with you going to my Bantayan adventure, the places that I explored the hidden spots that I newly discovered so that everyone who doesn't know will know so that they will have an idea and everything that made this trip very unforgettable.
Be ready, because this is going to be a fun, memorable and scenic ride. Let’s dive into my Bantayan trip together!
We are currently staying in Mandaue City, Cebu, and our scheduled pick-up time last time when we were going to Bantayan Island was very early in the morning, around 5:30 AM, because the reason for such an early scheduled pick-up time is we were still traveling to Hagnayan Pier before we were going to arrive in Bantayan Island and the travel time from the city to the northern part of Cebu is usually around 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions so that's why we are traveling very early in the morning because at that time there is no traffic yet. To make sure we arrive at our destination on time because of the ferry trip going to Bantayan Island and we can avoid heavy traffic later in the day, that's why.
We are the first group that the driver picked up, around 4Am I am already awake and finalizing the thing I bring and after that, I take a bath and fix myself, and I'm heading to our office after everything is settled and done because our pickup is there. I think more or less 5 minutes after I arrived in the office the driver arrived. Being the first pickup means the vehicle comes to us before heading to the other locations so that's why I wake up very early and fix everything so that I will not be late. After picking us up, the vehicle will proceed to pick up the second group at another location.
Once we arrive at the meeting point for the second group, we wait for them approximately more or less 10 minutes. We give everyone enough time to be settled by their group. During this short waiting period, we’ll make sure that all members are complete and comfortable in their sets before we continue on the trip because we know the trip will take longer.
After everyone is on board in the van and everything is ready, we will finally begin our long journey heading north.
While we were on our way to Hagnaya Port, our driver informed us so that the others would know that the journey going there would take quite a long time. He also mentioned also that there were very few places along the route where we could stop to buy food or drinks. Because of that, he suggested that it would be much better that we get breakfast before continuing the trip. After discussing it, we all agreed that it was also a good idea and then we decided to stop by Jollibee to order some food to take out so that if ever we get hungry on the road we can eat it inside the van and have no need to stop by. We arrived at the Jollibee drive-thru, we placed our orders and we waited patiently inside the van while they prepared our orders. The waiting time is taking less than 15 minutes and after receiving our food we are continuing our long journey to Hagnaya Port so that we can proceed to bantayan Island.
