I created this image at Canva App.
My friend sent me a surprise birthday cash gift at Moneygram remittance cash pick up. I didn't get the money because they need a primary ID, and the only ID I have is a Philhealth ID, they don't accept it.
I decided to return it to my friend. I couldn't get it either because I don't have an ID that is accepted for remittance. But my friend said that she can't get it back, too bad. So I asked my other friends what to do.
One of them said "cashed in it into your Gcash account" and I ask her how. And she taught me how to do it. I was amazed and happy because it was a successful transaction. I will also teach you how to do it in case you will encounter the same situation as me.
First, open your Gcash app. Second, press view all.
click view all
Third, scroll down and find the cash-in icon and click it.
click the cash in
Fourth, click Global Partners and Remittance.
Fifth, find the MoneyGram and click it and follow the instructions, it will only ask you the exact amount you expected to receive and the reference number.
click the moneygram
fill up the form, they only ask amount and reference number.
I am grateful to my friend who taught me this because honestly I was stressed about how to get the birthday cash gift and I wanted to return it to the person who gave it to me, but she said she can't take it back either so it's too bad, right? the sender can't get it back and the receiver can't get it either. I felt like a thorn was pulled out when I saw that the transaction was successful.
