As Roman Catholics, we have a once in a lifetime experience, our First Holy Communion. It is the time where we confess to the priest all the sins we had and then we finally get the chance to eat the Holy Eucharist. In the Philippines, the first holy communion happens every 4th grade.
Just recently, my son had his first holy communion and it was held just at his school, Caduawan Elementary School.
This is a photo of my son and his classmates as they are assited by their cathecist as they are waiting in queue for their turn for the confession.
This photo was during the holy mass where the learners already are waiting for their turn to receive the Holy Eucharist.
I remember my experience way back then when I was so excited to receive the Holy Eucharist.
After they had their confession, they took a class photo and they all looked so happy and grateful.
As a mother, I am sad I was not able to join my son in this important event in his life due to work. I am glad my partner is there to support him.
After their confession, my son then went home here in Tuburan to visit me. I am so happy to see him after he had his holy confession.
What a blessed day indeed! Ciao!♡
