Moalboal is a beautiful town in the southernmost part of Cebu City, Philippines. It is home to snorkeling and turtle-watching. It is heaven to all snorkeling lovers, free divers and scuba divers.
As beach lovers ourselves, we did not missed the chance to go snorkeling and watch the turtle and experience the sardines run.
We did not availed any tourguiding promo since we are sure that we will have fun by ourselves and we want to enjoy and explore the place independently.
We rented life jackets for ₱100.00 each. Also some snorkeling set for ₱100.00 each. It is quite deep and you would really need some life jacket if you want to experience snorkeling if you are not that an expert yet.
We enjoyed experiencing the sardines run and we also saw the turtle. We swam with it and go towards whichever direction it goes. It was just so therapeutic.
If there is one regret I have is that we did not get a snorkeling guide during this time, because there are underwater cameras for rent but it needs supervision from a snorkeling guide, which we did not availed. Given so, we do not have photos with the sardines run and no photos with the turtle. We also do not have our own underwater camera so renting was supposed to be an option which we did not.
We will surely come back here soon. Soonest if we will be able to buy our own underwater camera or simply just come back here and avail a snorkeling guide so that we can rent an underwater camera and take photos of the sardines run and the turtle.
It was just picture perfect underwater. When I see videos and photos of people snorkeling in Moalboal, I can only reminisce the experience and it is indeed one for the books.
Also soon, when we will be back here, it would be best to bring our own snorkeling set and life jacket so that we will not be renting.
This experience is one of the best and I will be back here soon.
There are a lot of people snorkeling not just Filipinos but all people across the globe. Moalboal is indeed a world-class destination.
Really no wonder why there are a lot of tourists in Moalboal and I deeply regret I did not try this experience earlier.
We went back to our hostel with happy hearts and memory banks filled with so much new experience.
To sea turtles and beautiful Moalboal! Ciao!♡
