Somewhere closer to Khaosan road, there's a hotel that has rooms with jacuzzi inside. The place is called Chillax resort and they have a BIG jacuzzi directly inside the room that couples can enjoy.
The only thing that separates that from the bed is a curtain and bruuh it looks like heaven so we booked in here.
The jacuzzi is huge although it just looks a bit small in the pics. We were able to watch Netflix there with my iPad while laying down comfortably side by side. So we thought "imagine if we have a bath bomb for this!". We were only using the bath gel the hotel provides but it barely even bubbled haha.
We came across this store in Siam Center and was delighted to see it's full of bath bombs.
They have soaps and other stuff as well but they were selling mostly bath bombs. Perfect. :D Then we saw the price... It's so expensive but we haven't tried using bath bombs yet so we figured it is a good thing to do.
They have a lot of different designs and scents. Some bubbles and some don't. Yeah I don't know what's the point of using a bath bomb that doesn't bubble. Even having a colored water doesn't sound fun.
They were pretty huge compared to the ones we saw on Sephora. Expensive but, maybe worth the experience?
Who wouldn't want to try these? They're so cute and they look really interesting. They have glitters as well.
We bought a "rainbow" and a rose and both have bubbles.
The lady from shop told us that it's better to crush it first before putting in the water and then splash the water repeatedly for it to bubble. I would've wanted it to drop and watch it fizz on its own but since they are from the store we just trusted them.
I tried putting the whole thing in the water but it didn't do anything... it just.. stayed there when we expected it be fizzing. So we just continued with the crushing and splashing the water.
Ok... well... all the colors mixed together and now it just looks like thai milk tea... We expected something pretty to come out and not mixed them all but that's the instruction we received. Upon looking at their website, apparently that's just what they do. Just bubble and give the water color... and ugly one apparently. XD
We turned the jacuzzi on and it helped with the bubbling. I mean the bubble was great but was it worth the $15 for each? Oh hell naw. We could've bought a shampoo with it for less the price and it would bubble the same, probably even better. T_T
It was the same for the other bath bomb, still has bubble. And still, didn't do anything. It even has glitters but it quickly disappeared into oblivion. I'm looking at videos on Youtube and I guess those non-bubbled ones are the ones that fizz nicely but will only color the water so we didn't buy those. The smell were nice but it wasn't too strong so the scent also just disappear quickly.
Overall the money just went down the drain and could've been used on some other products that are better haha. Not sure about the non-bubble ones that give out pretty colors that have the same price range, they might be worth it for you but for us nope. Other brands will probably have better choices for way less but I just think these bombs are overpriced and overhyped.
