Hello there hivers!!! I hope you had an amazing Christmas because mine was filled with laughter and shared moments. As the holiday season is such a special time, I'm excited to share a glimpse of our Christmas Eve.
This Christmas, we were invited to my grandmother's house for a Christmas celebration. Initially, we had all the preparations at our own place, with the tasty dishes ready and the house set up for Christmas Eve.
However things took a turn for the worse when my parents started arguing, it makes our Christmas unhappy.
In the midst of this we faced another challenge the possibility of not having a proper Christmas meal. The thought of celebrating Christmas without the traditional feast was disheartening.
But in time of our need, my grandma stepped in. Knowing our situation she ensured that we had food on the table. This kindness and understanding means the world to us.
While the day wasn't without its challenges; it reminded us the importance of family and the power of generosity and love. Thanks to my grandma's love and help, whose presence and efforts made our Christmas a little brighter.
On the evening of December 24th, we made our way to the Christmas Mass, a tradition that holds a special significance for many. I was with my friend Amber, who is really cute and friendly. As the mass progressed , I noticed Amber felt a little bit restless, so she sat on my lap to feel more comfortable.
This is my view from outside the church because it was filled to the brim of worshippers. Our decision to arrive at 7 Pm, even though the mass scheduled for 8:45 PM, but it was fine since we secured a chair to sit on.
Once the mass started, the priest gave a touching talk that many of us, including me ,felt deeply. He talked about how forgiveness is crucial during Christmas.
He said Christmas isn't just about receiving gifts but it's about forgiving and making peace with others. He told us that if we really want to feel Christmas, we should have others in all our hearts.
This is my sister, she told me to capture her like a stolen photo. But she still looks pretty without even trying. She wore my crochet jacket, which made her look even better. It's moments like these that remind me of her effortless charm and style, even in the simplest situation.
This is me and my cousin.. Don't we look cute? The girl that wear the red dress is Monica Jane.Cindy, the one in the white dress, has this calm and composed aura. John Mark, the boy among us. But she like being
a girl . Over the years, I've built a strong bond with each of them.
At exactly 12:00, a special moment happened as my grandmother gave us a Christmas gift which is money. This gesture was made possible through the sister of my mother who lived in the Canada, she provided all the funds.
In many celebrations, it often the children who receive gifts first.
This is the family of my mother's sibling.Originating from Cebu, they have their Christmas Celebration here. However, when it comes to New Year's Eve they make it a tradition to come and spend time at their home.
The food was so tasty that my mouth watered just looking at those yummy dishes. There was spaghetti, puto, cassava, cake, cheffon, lechon belly, biko, chicken , and lumpia.
We had a lot of food, because a family from Cebu came to celebrate in the house of my grandmother. There's a funny story, my auntie, who is in canada, didn't inform my grandma that she would be covering the expenses for this special occasion.
My auntie didn't know that my grandmother cooked a lot of dishes. My grandmother cooked spaghetti and also my auntie ordered spaghetti because she didn't know that my grandmother would cook. But everything was still delicious. It was all worth it, especially when we didn't waste anything.
This is my mother, She's always late when my grandmother calls her, she tends to make excuses.
For this Christmas, everyone in our family got gifts. The grandchildren received 300 and together with the siblings of my mother she got a 500. Even the girlfriend of the sibling of my mother got a 500, Now when it came to us? 300? But it's still okay... Lets just say our share was a bit lighter. Despite this, we truly cherished this night and are genuinely happy.
You can see alongside with me is my cousin, Cindy. Among all my cousins, Cindy and I share a special bond and are particularly close. Whenever they return home, she makes a way to connect with me.
She knows how to use a cellphone so it's easy for her to communicate with me. I often received video calls from her, and my messenger filled with her voice messages. She always mentions how much she misses me.
For the Christmas gift-giving, they came up with a unique way: The papers had amounts written on them, 500,200,300,400,50. They playfully said that only two lucky ones had the 500 written down. This joke made everyone excited and curious about what they'd get. In reality, all of the papers have 500 written on it.
We started praying right away, excited to eat since the table was full as usual. My older sister let first, followed by my sibling of my mother, who had a unique way of praying.
My beloved dog, looked so pitiful with her droppy eyes because he was so hungry.

My cousin really loved the Mango float. When she noticed that the mango slices used were a bit tangy, she took it upon herself to make sure they were enjoyed rather than wasted. She scooped some onto my plate, ensuring that every bite was relished.
I often tease her that if she doesn't finish her mango float, I'll tell her mom. She quickly finished her own serving because she loves it too much.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS!! take care always, and Godbless!! That's all for today's blog. Thanks for sticking till the end of my blog. Your support is truly appreciated. See you on my next blog.
