Early in the morning all the members of SSLG gathered all here at the gym to announce that we have a mass. They require all the students in different department to wear their department t-shirt so that they will know what department we belong. We have different faction, in education our faction was Erudite, in IT their Candor, in IE their Daoughtles, in HM their Ablegation. And each faction have different color, the blue, red and black, green, and yellow.
Of course just like what the host said earlier that we had a mass exactly at the campus before we start our intramurals opening. All the erudite gather in tha same place so that our adviser can see us . The mass ended at 9:30 cause the priest start the mass exactly 8 .
I didn't wear my t-shirt on this time yet cause our class mayor was late, and she's the one holding our t-shirt and guest what she forgot to distribute it. But that's ok I still wearing our faction color.
After the mass we proceed to the line for parade. And this time finally I already wear my T-shirt. It's a little bit awkward not to wear our team t-shirt so me and my friend cathlin goes to the bathroom first before we proceed to the line and ended up we got separated by our other friends. I forgot to bring some umbrella.
Before we goes in at the campus after the parade, the host instructed us the if the call our faction name we must yell or say something to represent our faction. That's usually what's the team do in every event, being proud and confident to their team.
A long process and time we spend before we take our pictures exactly at the front of the poster.
In intramurals it's not just about winning but it's about improving the skills, meeting new people with the same skills, learning to admit defeat, and the most important one is to enjoy. We can't call someone of being a true athlete for being a competitive, but for to play with pride, respect and effort. Yes the competition are in and we need to be competitive but the first lesson I've lear of being into sports person is to play with honor not just being competitive. Cause the more we aim for winning the more we lose of that game, it's not just about the certificate, but it's all about the experience, and improvement.
