I went back to our province, and since I had nothing to do, my younger sibling and I decided to dig up some sweet potatoes on my grandfather’s farm. I missed cooking and eating camote… it’s been a while since I last had it! So come join me in my daily blog, guys!
So here are the sweet potatoes we harvested from my grandfather’s farm. We only got a few, maybe we can’t finish them all today since there’s more for the next day. I started peeling them because I wanted to fry some camote.
Hahaha, it was so funny, guys! While we were on our way to my grandpa’s farm, I actually slipped because it was raining. My butt hurt so much! And my younger sibling didn’t help me right away…they were laughing so hard before finally helping me stand up. What a kind kid, right? HAHAHAHA!
So here’s our camote cue, guys! We cooked it in a pan since we don’t have a stove…we used a traditional woodfire instead. I was covered in ash because I kept blowing on the fire to keep it burning. That’s what’s great about living in the province…you don’t need money for gas, but you have to be hardworking enough to gather firewood! HAHAHAHA!
Now my camote cue is almost done cooking…it’s turning red, which means it’s nearly ready!
And here’s the final product, guys! Waaaahhh, it looks so delicious! Let’s eat, everyone! 🫶🫶🫶
