Hello, my dear Hivers!
The thing I am sharing right now is a bit of a nostalgic moment, the event that took place just before the beginning of the first semester of classes.
The highlight of this blog is a simple yet sweet moment I had with my sister,we went out for some snacks and had such a fun time together.But before I share that part, let me tell you first what happened earlier that day!
Both my sister and I are the representatives of the year level for our respective departments, so we are the officers of the organization. On a particular day, our president reached out to us via the group chat and asked if we could swing by the school for some prep work.It was actually a Sunday when there were no lessons, but we thought that we might still be of use and go there.
The set time to start was 1 PM, but my sister and I arrived way too early, like seriously, we were the first ones there! We even thought some officers had already arrived, but when we checked, the place was still quiet and empty.
Since my sister started feeling hungry, she suggested that we grab a snack while waiting. I agreed right away because why not? At first, we were a bit undecided about where to eat, but she suggested Worthy Spot it’s just walking distance from campus, and the food there is affordable (which is a big yes for students like us!).
Before heading in the place, I was secretly hoping and manifesting that there wouldn’t be too many people so we could sit comfortably , preferably near the electric fan. Luckily, I myself found a nice cozy spot, and I volunteered to stay at the table while my sister went to order our food and drinks.
We got fries and drinks and one ice cream. I am not really hungry and so I chose ice cream. When the food came, my sister suddenly said, “Let’s take some pictures first!” She quickly went online to find photo inspirations. After awhile, she found one and showed it to me. Of course, we didn’t waste time, we started our mini photoshoot!
Here’s the funny thing, though, my ice cream was already melting while we were taking so many shots! I was attempting to pose properly but inside, I was thinking, “Oh no, my ice cream is just melting to milkshake already!” Anyway, the pictures came out charming, and we laughed a lot at our folly simultaneously.
Following that, we together indulged in our snacks, chatted about the upcoming school year, and discussed our goals as officers. It was great to get that brief change of pace before diving into a brand new semester full of duties and excitement.
And that’s all for today’s throwback, my dear Hivers! Sometimes, it is the easy, going pre, class moments like this one that let us remember how pleasurable student life could be, the things that it consists of are laughter, teamwork, and small escapades with the people we love.
