Happy Friday, my dear Hivers! I'm feel so energetic on Fridays, maybe because I'm too excited for the weekend.
Today is yet again my office day and the first Friday mass, which means we have free lunch in the pantry.
After our sumptuous lunch, my friend and I went to the grocery to grab some ice cream or cold drinks.
I'm not sure if it's already avocado season in our country, but we found a lot of avocadoes displayed in the grocery. I love mixing avocadoes with condensed milk as snacks or dessert.
Tadaa. I found my childhood favorite ice cream- Pinipig. It's not exactly the same brand as the old one that I used to eat is just a local brand, but the taste of this Nestle Pinipig surely brought me back to my childhood days.
There's this ice cream vendor selling a local brand of pinipig in the family park where we used to have field trips back in elementary. I just randomly remembered our field trip while eating my dessert.
This is a tonic water. At first, I thought it's a liquor product because of its packaging, probably a gin. It's actually just a tonic water but the price is 10x the normal water. I haven't tried drinking one though.
After work, we then had another stress eating session at our usual samgyupsal place.
As I've said in my previous blogs, this restaurant is quite outdated in terms of plating and interior but what makes us come back here is their premium beef. For a slightly cheaper price, we could already enjoy their beef and pork.
So everytime we feel like stressed or just want to reward ourselves for our hardwork, we often visit this place and eat our hearts out.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
