One blink and we're now in the first page of 2026. How time flies so fast?! I'm grateful for my holidays well spent with family and friends. The rest I always knew I badly need.
After Christmas eve, I went straight to jogging (or maybe walking is the right term?) first thing in the morning. I'm no runner- just someone whose goal is to get some sunlight and a little movements. This place has been my hideout since pandemic, a vacant field behind a church. There are joggers here too. On weekdays, I see people playing soccer in the afternoon.
After my morning jog and tons of household cleaning done, I allowed myself to be a couch potato for the rest of the day. I thought of watching a Netflix series romanticizing about having an office job that could inspire me of my own. So I searched for a genre that hits just that. Alas, the perfect series to watch- Emily in Paris. I love her sense of fashion and here work ethics. Currently I'm almost finish with Season 1 and will try to catch up to season 6.
I also did some last minute shopping in UNIQLO after the Christmas season rush to use up my remaining clothing allowance, then went to Basilica del Sto Nino church to pray.
On the 31st of December, we celebrated the New Year's Eve at my cousin's house. The city view was too pretty that I have to take a photo of it.
We also prepared our traditional 13 kinds of round fruits displayed in our dinning table and office tables.
When the clock striked 12, we positioned ourselves outside and enjoyed the fireworks in our red pajamas. Oh how I love holiday seasons! But it's now the 1st of January of 2026, which means holidays are now over and we'll all get back to work tomorrow.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
