Hey, beautiful people of hive. I hope you're all doing well. Life lately has been truly hectic. So I apologize for not being much active in this community.
My week started with sunrise yoga at Tops of Cebu. Contrary to my previous experience, where it was set up outdoor allowing us to greet the sun first thing in the morning, today was quite gloomy and drizzling so the session was held indoor. Geez! The cold temperature felt like we're in Baguio City. Nevertheless, i can't complain with this beautiful view infront of me.
Things I do at home
One healthy habit I try to get back into is making kombucha and meal prepping. Kombucha is a carbonated drink enriched with probiotics and vitamins. I'm not sure if this drink is popular, but I've been brewing this drink since pandemic days, mainly to improve my digestion. Since then, I've maintained the scoby culture and brewed occasionally.
My boyfriend's family gifted me 2 trays of salted egg last year. So I started experimenting recipes with salted egg. One of which is this salad recipe I found in YouTube. This easy recipe only needs cucumber, mango, onion, salad dressing, and of course the salted egg. Since then, I've been making them almost weekly.
9 Days Novena complete!
The start of my year has been tough, mentally and emotionally. With every year that passed by, I can't help but think about how old I am already, yet still feels like I'm not ready for the world. Is this quarter life crisis? Maybe. One thing I know for sure, I know I have to make a difference this year. By the start of the 9-day Novena of Sto Nino de Cebu, I set all my intentions and offered prayers.
How's your first few weeks of the year so far?
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
