Rain makes everything better.
It transforms the world outside into chaos while turning our home into a quiet, cozy cave.
I love rainy days, and I love rainy nights even more. It's kind of a good "bed weather".
My favorite thing about being inside the house on a rainy night is playing with my console and spending time with family.
During the recent typhoon, I was beside the sliding door in our room's balcony, looking at the skies and listening to the rain. I was tucked in my heavy blanket while both my partner and my son were sleeping.
The rain is kind of therapeutic for me. I can't help but appreciate how it involves all my senses: the coldness of the wind, the smell of petrichor as the rain touches the grass, and the sound of the raindrops on the roof. All these things really engage my senses and remind me to relax and listen to the soothing sound of rain.

I just remembered that when I was in high school, I used to have a record player in my room. I would play the Cascades with their hit song, "Rhythm of the Rain," and I just loved that so much. It takes me back to a time in my life when there wasn't a lot of worry, and you actually got to stop and listen to the rain.
This is a very special post because it shows what our day-to-day rainy night is like, and I love to share this coziness with you today.
