COME TO SCHOOL WITH ME!
I have a morning class as early as 7:30 am, therefore I need to wake up at 4:30 am, provided that my school is quite far from the house, and, of course, to avoid being late, since being late for 15 minutes will be recorded as absent.
It's still 5:30 am, I guess, almost six, but like me, the traffic was an early bird, too. Actually, that's the main reason why I have to wake myself up too early, given that I commute every day and I need to take 2 rides to get to school.
After a long ride, I finally arrived at school. So, I stopped first in the lobby to take a deep breath before heading to our respective room. Actually, this is a nice place to stand by since the university offers free Wi-Fi that is accessible for everyone.
Our room is located on the 7th floor of the CME (College of Management and Entrepreneurship) building, and unfortunately, the elevator is still not working. So, we, students, including all the professors, have to go up by the stairs. Honestly, I'm literally gasping for air everytime, but to remain optimistic, I'll just convince myself that I'm doing a cardiovascular exercise. 😂
So that's our building. It is newly built, and I like the idea of being there, but the process of getting there is nevermind. 😂
Okay, so after a hundred drops of sweat, I'm finally here, thankfully. Anyways, let's drink blue lemonade juice, everyone. ~~
Moreover, what I usually do is gaze outside by the window. Here you can see the Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), which is absolutely one of the Cebuano prides, because it's currently the longest bridge in the Philippines 🌉 that connects Cebu to Cordova in Mactan Island. Honestly, this brings out the better side of being on the 7th floor.
After the staring interludes on the balcony, hahaha, at the window I mean, I finally sat on my throne and waited for our professor.
After the e-commerce class, we took a rest and made preparations for our presentation in our major subject, specifically International Business and Trade. We students were provided with one foreign country, and our group was tasked to present Deutschland! 🇩🇪❤️
So our group presented the country's profile, a brief history of Germany, its Federal States, largest cities. We also tackled the people, including historical figures of Germany such as Albert Einstein, Johannes Gutenberg, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Martin Luther, Ludwig van Beethoven, and many more! We presented as well the most spoken and minor languages in Germany, their education, culture, traditions, lifestyle, tourist spots, currency, their business and economy, and so on.
Overall, this activity has imparted us, students, knowledge about other nations, and honestly, it's a super fun exploration.
Our morning classes have ended, and the next class will still be at 4 pm, so what we did was spend our time doing our marketing thesis 2, which is one of our requirements for completing this course. We first consulted our research instructor and research adviser. After that, we went to the engineering building to do another consultation with our statistician. While waiting for him to come to his office, we sat first and looked at this cutie here! I guess kitty's blessing our paper! 🫣
However, our statistician was in the Science and Technology building, so we went forth to meet him on the 5th floor and finally had our consultation. But before that, let me show you the outside view there.
Then, we had our Foreign Language subject, particularly Spanish. Initially, we were encouraged to choose between Spanish and Korean. However, we chose Spanish since it's much easier than Korean, considering that in Korean, we would have to study how to write as well, which is kind of difficult within the semester time frame. So, since it was our first meeting, we started with the basics: the alphabet, its pronunciation, and common phrases. It was fun and enjoyable at the same time, as our professor is actually the best teacher! He has experience teaching at Salamanca University in Spain and Seowon University in South Korea, and he's a pure Filipino. He has the humor so the class will never be dull and boring.
Our final class of the day has ended, thus, we decided to go home right after.
Yey! Classes are all done, so it's already time to go home. We exited the school very, very tired, honestly. 😂 A lot of things have happened within the day, so it's kind of exhausting. So, I'm heading home already, and I'm just right here, patiently waiting for the bus to come.
After 2 long hours, I finally got home, thankfully. I'll be able to take a rest. What a day! 🥲
Thank you so much, my dear Hivers, for reading my blog. A very busy day, right? Yes, it is! HAHAHAHA. Anyways, I appreciate all of you for coming with me to school; it's a pleasure! This ends here. See you in my next blog! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
