I’m Aboard!
Almost two months ago, I stumbled into a crypto-earning platform called Hive. I did not really mind it because I was earning on other platforms already. One day, a few of my virtual friends were talking about this platform, and I got interested too. Nothing to lose in hopping into a different platform. Someone gave me a link to get to the HivePH server.
“Hello?” Oh, this server is damn cold, I thought to myself. My words were just bouncing around the walls, echoing into to the void. Should I stay here?
A “guy” then responded to my unobtrusive hello. Finally, there was someone alive in this room. Her name reminded me of someone in the past, but yeah, let’s just skip that part. Her name is Jude. I really thought she was a guy. She helped me in creating my account, and on that occurrence, we exchanged messages and became friends.
Voyager Buddies
Two weeks into the server, I am getting along with most of the members. To blend in with the rest of the members is not difficult at all. We joke around about the silliest matters in the world. Topics got serious and that was the point when I feel deeper connections with the members. We talked over voice chat until the clock pointed to twelve.
Of course, there will be always a bad egg among the good eggs. I got into a squabble with a certain dude. Every time I say something, he tried to make an argument out of me. I am known for using “ice pick” on the server, but I guess this time, I was the one who got stabbed.
Wow, is he the captain or the pirate of this ship? He seems obnoxious and reactive. I am not really mad or irritated at all and just play with the waves. I knew of that dude more and learned that he was not that evil at all. He is an exceptionally well-rounded leader.
The Captain and the Ship Crew
As I said earlier, the staff were cold as the freaking Arctic Ocean. I felt like walking in a street full of stray dogs that were ready to bite my leg. I do not like to run because I might get chased and bitten. Some staff are strict about the rules, which I understand because it is their job to make sure that rules are followed. I understand that we signed up for some rules before boarding on this server.
Yeah, they are not that cold at all. You just have to know them better. I am surprised that they get lenient when you got used of the server. As long as you respect the members, the community, and the system, you do not have to worry about getting eaten alive by the “sharks”.
I admire the captains and ship crew of the ship because they got the leadership. they got the vessel in control every time. No matter how rough the waves are, they will keep the ship thriving and afloat.
Coastal Meetings
Webinars are great to help to the members, especially the newbies. The online event is conducted a few times a month by the staff. I admire their patience to go through over and over the slides just to make sure that the topic is well understood. Also, they were open to questions from the members. At this point, they already got the best ways in discussing webinars. Even if I am a newbie no more, I still attend these webinars to show my support to the community.
Race Sport
Aha~ Games! This is what I am looking forward to every Friday. I really get competitive when it comes to games. The event is not about the prize to be taken away by a winner, but it is a tradition that bonds us together. The laughs and teasing are the real reasons why I do not want to miss a game. But, you know, I might volunteer as a host or cohost in the next game. As of the moment, I won three games. In total, I already received 20 Pizza and 3 Hive. Of course, I share some of my prizes with fellow members. Sharing is caring~ (But do not share your jowa, haha!)
Rough Waves
As a community, we also faced rough waves. One of my saddest days being on the server was when one of the members passed away. I was not at home when the news broke on the server. As I opened the Discord app, a long thread in the general chat appeared. I read the latest message and got confused. I cannot believe what I just read. It was beyond my understanding that she is now gone. I was in great disbelief.
I was really sad that day because it happened too fast. I cried after learning the news because we were getting closer by the day. She will always be remembered and loved.
Aye, Aye Captain!
More adventures to come with the HivePH crew. I am really happy that I am part of this community. Did the universe conspire for me to meet these people? If so, thank you, universe!!!!
I guess they are not as cold as the Arctic Ocean anymore. Everyone is warm as the red-sky blush, shining like the sunbeams piercing through the dusty clouds. As we sail further together, I get closer to them. :)
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “We may have all come on different ships, but we are in the same boat now.”
HivePH will forever sail!
That is it for this article. I will see you at the next one!
