Having a side hustle is a great thing because you can save even if it is just a little. You know it's better to have a small amount than nothing. So for today, I will share with you my other sideline. Well, I didn't want to do it though for some reason but I don't have a choice.
Last month my Aunt asked me to take care of their animals I mean their duck, birds, and their dog. At first, I want to say no but I am a little bit shy to say it then she said she will pay me for it so the other side of my mind said yes. HAHA So I already said yes and then she explained everything about how to feed those animals and the measurement of their foods. To be honest, money is not just the reason why I agree, I'm just a little bit worried about my aunt's animals since my aunt doesn't have enough time to feed them.
The reason why I don't agree at first is I'm a little bit afraid of animals with beaks. I feel like they will hurt me that bad HAHA. That is why I also take this as a challenge to overcome my fear. And I'm afraid that it will take a lot of time to feed those animals, because you know I also have school activities to finish.
So let's now move on and see what is my tasks to do! The thing I will do is to feed the ducks . This is the thing I do first because they are irritating goodness! They are so loud and some of them peck me 😃. So I give them food first, and after that, I gave them water to drink, and I also fill up a tub for them so that they can enjoy and swim like they are in a pond.
And next thing is I will feed the birds. When I was a kid I dreamed of feeding a pet bird but that never came true and now I think my dream came true! Lol. So for these birds, I just gave them food, and check their water if they still have water to drink. When it's my first time feeding them I'm so afraid to open the cage because I overthink that they will fly away once I open it. HAHA
Lastly, I will feed their dog. Before my aunt went out she will give me the food for their dog already. Then I will just give it when it's time for a meal. Sometimes their dog is such a picky eater! That's the thing I worry about the most because what if their dog became sick because of it? And she always doesn't finish her food, she will always have left over. 😬
Sometimes they also ask me to water their plants if it didn't rain for a few days already. This is the most time-consuming but you know it is also a good exercise in the morning, like lifting a pail of water multiple times. And being with plants is relaxing and it clears my mind even if I had a lot to think of.
It just sounds like easy tasks right? But it is not HAHA sometimes it takes me around 30-45 minutes to finish all of this task, sometimes an hour it takes me an hour. It is still okay since I still have enough time to finish my school activities. And I consider it as my morning exercise so that my body will wake up from the short sleep I had. Lol!
