The 1st quarter of 2021 passed by so quickly. With so many things going on around us, I did not notice that 1/4 of the year 2021 had already gone by.
For the most part, the year started with quite optimistic projections from government bureaucrats and pundits; now, we are in a fix and nobody seems to be fully, absolutely, positively in-charge. I mean we have leaders in government, and you know that they are doing things, but inspiring confidence that we are all getting through this thing alive is a whole story altogether.
April 1
There's a lot to unpack on the first day of the second quarter of the year. It's April Fools Day which suggest practical jokes and hoaxes, which I'm not going to do in this post. lol
For Christians all over the world, it is also Holy Thursday, or Maundy Thursday, the fifth day of the Holy Week. On this day, Jesus Christ washed the feet of the apostles and, later on that evening, celebrated a special meal that is now known as the last supper where he tells everyone present about the events that will happen in their lives: his crucifixion, betrayal, and denial of Peter.
For sure, this is a day of contradiction. We have April Fools and Maundy Thursday, which couldn't have been farther away from each other in practice and mood.

Don't worry about the last one, I can't explain it either but there are really smart people here who can. lol
For today's #HivePUD, I powered up a total of 15.049 liquid HIVE which gave me a total of 2,036.962 Hive Power. I've delegated most of the HP that I hold so that I can earn from it passively and help newbies with a small amount of Resource Credits for basic activities on the blockchain.

That's it. Thanks for reading up to here. Everybody has his/her own reason for powering up. Personally, I'd like to grow my account in the hopes that one day Hive will be one of the top cryptocurrencies in the world. Many of us will agree that the intrinsic value of Hive is very high and as of today, the price does not reflect that. I'm hoping that the market value will soon catch up and crypto-universe recognizes it for what it is.
