Hello good day my dear hivers, its me again ☺️ I hope everyone is doing well today despite of many tragedies happened in our lives. I just want to share the life we had in my hometown last October 30, 2025 until November 05, 2025 as we shared laughs, lots of love and emotions.
(This picture shows how excited we are in going home)
Every time we went home, me and my partner are so excited because for us, coming home feels like a vacation to us, it relieves stress and worries. Province life is better than city life because in the province, it’s the ambiance of the place and it’s not polluted.
On our way home, Let’s go! ☺️
As we goes by, we spotted a beautiful place here in Labangon, Tabogon Cebu. It’s a nice view and it caught our hearts, so we stopped by to get a picture.
Finally, we’re home🥰
The house is so quiet, nobody is around. I looked for everyone but I didn’t find them. Few minutes, my niece arrived and asked her where’s her grandmother(my mom) she replied that my mom is in her garden(uma in cebuano) so I went to her garden and found out…
She’s planting cassava ☺️
My mom is very hardworking, even she’s 60 years old she used to go to her garden as her comfort zone. She loves planting everything and sell it for her to have money. When I was young, she always told me that "paningkamot og skuyla dai kay ikaw ra ang makaluwas sa atong kalisod, og kahibaw ko nga kaya nimo"(study hard, because you're the only one who can save us from poverty, and I know you can do it). This one that she said to me is always my inspiration as I went along in my life but the life as I’d planned isn’t coincides God’s plan. Yes, I already strived hard, I already finished college and already have a degree but as what I’ve said life is not that easy, its not just a blink of an eye we will reach our dreams. In my 26th years, I haven’t fulfilled yet what my mother told me. But, I never lose sight of my dreams in becoming a police officer someday. In God’s will and perfect timing I will reach my dream.
Moving on, every time I went home my mom always cooked something special like "puto balanghoy" (It is a traditional Filipino steamed cake made from cassava) It’s very delicious, and we cooked "humba"(Humba is a popular Filipino dish, specifically a braised pork belly dish cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, and spices) We cooked "humba" as partner for our "puto balanghoy"
November 02, 2025(All Souls Day) I visited my daughter in cemetery and offer her favorite yellow flowers. When she was alive, she always picked yellow flowers in our garden and offer it to the saints in the church and she always gave me yellow flowers too and put it in my ears and said mama you’re beautiful like me 🥹 Everyday I missed her, the laugh and smiles on her face and everything. But, I know she’s in good hands. She’s an angel 👼🏻
On November 04, 2025 at 9 o’clock in the morning my father was trimming the tree near our house in preparation for the Typhoon Tino.
Even though it rains he continues to trim the trees because we heard that the typhoon is a super typhoon. If he didn’t do that, it might fall in our house and caused huge damage. He tied the entire roof with rope. I’m so grateful to have a father that is always prepared in everything and very responsible.
As the typhoon goes by, we are grateful because in our place has no damages even the houses of our neighbors but the trees got fallen. God protected us in the storm.
In every calamity, we assumed for power outage. Since my father is an electrician in CEBECO, he helped in restoring electricity.
My father is a 56 years old, as his age it’s crucial and risky in that field of work but he loves to help. He always checked the electrical lines along our place just to make sure it’s safe. After a week, luckily the power is back. Everyone’s happy. ☺️
November 05, 2025 back to city again, back to reality, and this would be all. Thank you everyone.
Thank you for taking time reading my story. I’m so grateful for you all for your undying support. May God bless you in whatever your heart desires 🩷
