This is my little space on the internet where I want to share some things about myself. My name is Kristen Mie Manulat, and I am from Hagnaya, Carmen, Cebu. I'm 17 years of age, and I'm turning 18 this upcoming December. I am currently in grade 12. I studied at Ramon M. Durano Sr. Foundation Science and Technology Center(RMDSF-STEC). The school is great, the people are fantastic, and the atmosphere is one that makes you actually want to go to school.
I am an interesting, fun, and loving girl with a good sense of humor. One thing about me that is important to know though is that at first I come off as a very shy, individualistic girl, but once I get to know people and are comfortable with my environment, I am great. It is hard for me to make friends, but once I do, it’s great, and we are all different. I joke, laugh, and humor people, and I also get as much as I give. I am a very kind, compassionate, and sensitive girl, as my close friends will tell you. I have a tough shell, but on the inside I am soft. I am also a very principled person and stand strong on what is right and wrong. I am also a very straight and honest person. I understand and know that we all put on a show sometimes and do not show who we really are or what we feel, but some people do this constantly, and those kinds of people I cannot stand.
Academically, I am a student who likes to be mentally challenged, and I enjoy both hands-on projects as well as conventional learning. I'm a little shy, to be honest. I'm not the kind of person who loves being the center of attention. But I'm trying to get better at talking to people and sharing my thoughts. I'm still figuring things out, but I'm determined to reach my goals.
I have two brothers and one sister, and they're all amazing! I’m the youngest of my family. They treat me like a princess. They really support me in everything I do. My parents are the best too, even though they're pretty strict when it comes to boys. They want me to be successful, so they don't want me to have a boyfriend right now. I understand why they're like that, and I always try to listen to their rules because I love them so much.
One of my favorite things to do is cook! It's something I've loved since I was a kid. My dad taught me how to make lots of yummy dishes. He's the best cook in the family! I also love baking cakes. There's something so satisfying about creating something delicious from scratch.
My friends know they can always come to me if they need someone to talk to. They often tell me their problems or just rant about things that are bothering them. I feel happy when they feel comfortable enough to share with me. I may not always have the perfect advice, but I always try my best to help them.
Pink and army green are my favorite colors. They really stand out to me. I love seeing them. I like clothes that are beige, brown, and chocolate brown. They're nice colors. I also like to write things down in notebooks. It helps me remember things. Sometimes I feel stressed out. When that happens, I like to go out with my friends. It makes me feel better. I think it's important to have things you like. It makes life more fun. I'm happy to have my favorite colors, clothes, and friends.
I really like to be by myself. I don't want a lot of noise around me. I also don't like things to be messy. When I see trash or things out of place, it makes me feel really uncomfortable. It's like my head is going to explode! If I see something messy, I have to clean it up right away. If you ask me about my type of boy, I will say that I like a kind of boy that is vocal, gentle, and has dreamed of the future. Music is my comfort zone. Whenever I'm feeling stressed or down, I put on my headphones and just let the music wash over me. It helps me relax and forget about my worries. I love all kinds of music, from pop to rock to classical. It's hard to pick a favorite!I'm excited to share more about myself with you on this blog. I'll be writing about my cooking adventures, my favorite music, and maybe even some of my experiences as a shy person trying to navigate the world.
