Hello, Hive friends! 💕
After attending mass at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church with my boyfriend, we decided to spend some quiet time at the picnic area of the Lourdes Grotto Shrine. While many visitors enjoy meals here, we simply sat on the benches, strolled around, and captured beautiful photos together — and it turned out to be one of the most peaceful highlights of our visit.
The picnic area immediately amazed me with its spaciousness and cleanliness. It felt like a sanctuary within a sanctuary, a place where families and friends could gather, laugh, and relax amidst nature. Even though we didn’t bring food, just being there gave me a sense of calm and joy.
What makes this spot special:
• Wide open space — perfect for bonding or simply breathing in fresh air
• Serene atmosphere — benches and shaded areas invite you to pause and reflect
• Holy water springs nearby, adding a spiritual touch to the surroundings
• Options for visitors — Bring your own baon or buy food at the stalls in front of the shrine.
We enjoyed standing together, sitting on the benches, and taking photos: solo shots, couple shots, and scenery captures. Each picture reflects the happiness and tranquility we felt in that moment. It wasn’t about having a picnic; it was about cherishing the serenity of the place and the joy of being together.
Thank you so much for joining me in reliving this experience. The picnic area of Lourdes Grotto Shrine is truly a gem, not only for meals but also for quiet moments, reflection, and making memories with loved ones. I hope you get to visit and feel the same peace I did. Until next time, may your days be filled with joy and blessings! 💖
