Hello to all the people here on Hive; how was everyone? How's your 2023 Valentine's Day?
On my way to work earlier and even going home saw several women holding presents from their partners and smiling widely. Indeed, they got a happy day! Flowers, teddy bears, and chocolates!
What about you?
Speaking of, that is different from my topic for today. Just remember that today is widely celebrated worldwide. I chose to go home after work as I was tired after going home every weekend for three consecutive weeks. Travel makes me tired, and also take care of my cute and hyper visitors. As I mentioned in my previous blogs, my husband's nieces and nephew, who are all toddlers, were fond of spending time with me every time I went home. Our houses were all built next to each other, so when they saw my door was open, as expected, one by one, they are coming.
Most of the time, this cute little boy is the first one. Who wouldn't want to have him in the house?
Oh, don't be deceived by his angelic looks, as he was a naughty boy! I mean a typical curious and hyper one. Yet he was fun to be with as though he couldn't be pronounced well. He is a good conversationalist. Mind you; he won't concede! Always have reasons for everything.
He is just the first one, but usually, he comes along with his cousins. It was like having a kid, not one but more instantly!
Most of the time, this is the usual scenario at home! Just when I am done cleaning and arranging things, they will come, and after a few minutes? This is what happened.
Did you get what happened? This commonly usual
Of course, I reprimand them if I see that they hurt each other more than what they called kid fight. Also, ensuring to explain what are does and don'ts are.
Aside from there is no need for me to use speaker in order for our house to somewhat feel lively, they also made me laughed. Why? because of some innocent conversation with them.
Settings - they asked for some snacks after an hour of playing. I took the bread, sandwich spread, plates, and other things on the table. Suddenly one of the nephews said in his loud as he was amazed.
Wow, Tita Leslie, you got a GOLD Spoon!
He was referring to these;
I got these from as a gift during our virtual 2022 Christmas party at Hiveph.
Me: as I didn't want to spoil the moment told him ; "Shhh, lower your voice. Somebody might hear you and would break into the house. Then going to steal my GOLDS.
Nephew: So you are RICH? Can we sell that to have more money? And Tita, why is your floor not gold? Etc, etc., etc.!
That started a lot of curious questions, which I find challenging to answer.
They were enjoying eating when suddenly the nephew leaned to me and whispered. "Tita, why you don't want people to know that you are RICH?
Haha, see JM, it was not only me who appreciated and loved your gift. Even the kids! Though my problem now is they really thought I have Golds! Maybe, next time will go to tell them that it is NOT! 😁😃.
After a while, as it was almost twilight, they all decided to go home. Leaving me with this.
Yes, a leftover! Now I understand why some of my working Mom officemates often complain that diet is hard if you have a kid. If you're someone who was trained not to waste food, of course, you will eat your child's unfinished food.
Anyone can relate?
