Random days, Random blues? That's okay; you are human, after all.🤣 Agree? Please do so, as I have been trying to validate my roller-coaster emotions for weeks! Disappointment in life happens. As much as I wanted to stay home and let the inner me procrastinate, I couldn't, as I needed money! I am working on my next plan and need to be prepared financially. Not to mention, I filed a month-long leave last month, resulting in no salary received for two payroll cut -off. That's fine; I enjoyed though!
However, what they said is perfectly wrong timing; my Mother got sick last week. Saw her chat early in the morning, which is very usual. As I read, I felt nervous as she says;
Ne, (my nickname), could you send me money for a checkup? I am not feeling well. Last night I had difficulty in breathing; I thought I was going to die!
Who wouldn't get worried? Good thing the laboratory results were alright. The diagnosis was Mild Cardiomegaly. When I asked her what her Doctor said, she couldn't explain it clearly. Why? She didn't ask questions; she was shy 🤦♀. Goodness, this is one of the reasons why I always wanted my sisters to come along with her, but since they are all in the city, Father tagged along.
Thankful, Adamada is responsive and answered my queries when I DM him. I was relieved. Salamat Doc!
Back to the need for money, I get up from bed earlier as I believe in the saying early bird catches the worm. So when I was about to cross a pedestrian, I noticed it was a fine day!
Why not? The sky is blue, which means there is less chance of rain. It was so hard to commute going home. It was raining. Hey, take a look at this lovely yellow bell. Can you remember some old memories from your elementary days?
I don't know if it's only me, but I used this flower as a color in one of my subjects, Sining (Arts). We are required to add color to our drawings using natural resources. That saves me!
See how beautiful it is.
Besides this flowering tree is another flower, Caballero as we call it.
The same with the yellow bell; this was also a part of my childhood. Together with my sisters, we collect flowers to be put on a small altar in the chapel in our Barrio on summer days. That was in celebration of Flores de Mayo. It doesn't end there! I experienced the most powerful pinch of my Mother after eating the seeds, lol. I was only a kid then, and my young mind thought all fruits are edible.
Now that made me curious, so I asked Google, and OMG, it says seeds are poisonous.
The last one is Baho-baho or also known as Lantana Camara.
This comes in different colors, but it was considered a wildflower. We aren't interested in the flowers but in the seeds! It was small, like a monggo, which is perfect to use as a bullet in our DIY gun. Those who are born in the '90s and live in the countryside might be familiar with this.
I am telling you guys, it was so much fun using this, and just one bullet is enough to make your fellow kid frenemy cry, lol.
I just saw all of these while going to work, and I couldn't help but appreciate them, as it was a great help seeing this in the city. Right?
