How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. Here I am again, 
Yesterday turned out to be unexpectedly different because we had a power outage at home. Since there was no electricity, our school decided to switch to a work-from-home setup. At first I thought it would be a bit convenient, but instead of stressing about the situation, I chose to make the most out of it. I decided to turn the day into a simple “me time” and “pamper day”, something I haven’t done in a while.
Even without electricity, I felt motivated to do something nice for myself. I started from buying a hair color that I’ve been wanting to try. After that, I went to my go-to salon nearby in our area. It felt refreshing to step out and do something different from my usual routine. At the salon, I chose the lightest blonde shade from the Bremod brand. I was a bit nervous at first because what if my hair color will not suit me but still, I trusted the process.
While waiting for the color to develop. I felt relaxed and excited at the same time. It was a quiet kind of happiness, just sitting there and letting myself enjoy the moment. When the final result was revealed, I instantly loved it! Although they did not bleached my hair, the lightest blond shade looked fresh and gave me a new vibe. It felt like a small transformation, but it made a big difference in how I felt about myself.
To complete my pamper day, I also had my nails cleaned. It was such a simple thing but it made me feel even more refreshed and put together. Sometimes, it’s really the littl acts of self-care that bring the most joy.
