A Beautiful and Wonderful day to each and everyone!👋😊
Hello to all of my friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this lovely community!😍
How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. Here I am again, to share another simple life story with you all.💕
Yesterday was the 40th day since my uncle passed away in Canada after his battle with lung cancer. It was sad and emotional day for our family because he was not only my mother’s older brother, but also someone who had been always kind, generous, and supportive to all of us. Even though he lived far away from us for many years, we always felt his love and care through his messages, calls, and the help extended to our family whenever we needed it.
To honor his memory, we gathered together as a family for a prayer service and a simple salo-salo at my cousin’s home. The atmosphere was quiet and emotional, yet filled with love and remembrance. While preparing for the gathering, everyone shared stories about him and the happy memories they had together. Some of us laughed while remembering his jokes and funny moments, while others became emotional because we truly missed him.
My cousin prepared a small table with my uncle’s picture and placed a plate of his favorite foods beside it. Seeing that setup made the moment even more touching because it felt like he was still there with us in spirit. It reminded us of how much he enjoyed family gatherings and meals together.
Some of his high school batchmates also came to visit and offer prayers. They shared stories from their younger days and talked about the adventures and happy memories they experienced together. Listening to them made us realize how many lives my uncle had touched throughout his lifetime. He may already be gone, but the memories he left behind will always stay in our hearts.
Although the pain of losing him is still there, yesterday reminded us the importance of family, love, and remembering the people who became part of our lives. We ended the night with prayers and silent moments, hoping that my uncle is now finally at peace and free from pain.
And that's it for today's blog! Thank you so much for dropping by and taking the time to read my simple life story. This means a lot to me! I hope you enjoyed it and see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us.😍
