Hello everyone! hello to the wonderful community of ! It's me again "LJ", and another blog to share to y'all.
Yesterday was such an exciting and memorable day at our school because it marked the official opening of the "Palarong Pampaaralan 2025"(Intramurals). The theme this year, "Bagong Henerasyon, Bagong Lakas: Isports para sa Matatag na Bukas", truly captured the spirit of youth and sportsmanship. The event will run from September 17 to 19, and from the very beginning, the energy around the campus was so contagious.
The morning started with a colorful parade showcasing each grade level. Every grade had its own representative color like green, red, pink, yellow, purple and blue which made the school grounds look lively and festive.
The students proudly wore their colors as they marched around, waving their banners and smiling at the crowd. The cheering squads added even more excitement, each group presenting creative routines to hype up their grade levels. It felt like the entire school came together, not just to compete, but to celebrate unity and talent.
Thankfully, the weather was on our side. The sun wasn't too harsh, so everyone could enjoy the performances without feeling too uncomfortable. We were all smiles as we watched the cheerleaders give their best moves and chants.
The music, the clapping, and the loud cheers filled the air, and I couldn't help but feel proud of the students' dedication and teamwork.
However, there was a tense moment toward the end of the performances. After the last cheer squad's routine, one of the female dancers suddenly fainted after their dance. My heart skipped a beat, and a hush fell over the crowd. Luckily, her teammates acted quickly and caught her before she could fall hard. She was immediately brought to the clinic, and we all prayed she would be okay.
Later, we were relieved to hear that it was just due to exhaustion and the heat, and that she recovered after some rest and water. That moment reminded us of how important it is to take care of ourselves, especially during high-energy events like this.
In the afternoon, the festive atmosphere continued even though I had to return to my desk and work on some paperwork. Even with the sports going outside, I could still hear the distant cheers and whistles from the field.
To make my afternoon more enjoyable, I treated myself to an Oishi spicy snack and a refreshing ice candy for my merienda. It was a simple pleasure, but it made my paperwork session feel lighter and more bearable.
As the first day of the Intramurals came to an end, I couldn't help but feel grateful to be part of such enthusiastic and supportive school community. Events like these not only showcase talents and athleticism but also strengthen the bonds between the students, teachers, and staff.
I'm already looking forward to seeing more games and performances in the coming days. "Palarong Pampaaralan 2025" is off to an amazing start, and I'm excited to see what the next 2 days will bring.
And that's it for today's blog! Thanks for reading, I hope you like it. See you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!
