Hello everyone..
It's always a great pleasure to share another update of my life here in this community despite not feeling well for how many days..It's been 6 days already that I've been struggling combatting this respiratory illness that my daughter experience--the Pneumonia.
Persistent coughing, colds for how many days, allergies that were kept coming back made me so much worried.
I thought these symptoms were just ordinary signs and can be treated with just herbs and a simple citirizine and salbutamol can be made effective to this.
It was last Thursday when I rushed her to the clinic because upon observation she always cough persistently its a very dry cough she also experience itchy throat and a common colds.Though she's taking a medicine but all these simple symptoms didn't even cure for how many days of taking the meds..
So when we reached to the clinic, her pediatrician checked on her breathing using the apparatus, and heard something in her lungs.. it was a bit noisy, and there's already harsh sound on her lungs..
So she advised me to let my child have an X-ray..
Ive just waited for the result and let the doctor read it...
There's really a positive sign that my baby got a pneumonia..it's only a mild type of pneumonia but still have to be cured it using antibiotics because it's a kind of illness thats bacterial/viral..and it can't be cured without taking of it..
All of these aid in breathing her properly.. She's been nebulized for 3x a day to soften the mucus and to breathe comfortably..
Just thankful that I still have the chance to think and act immediately while its not yet severe..
We're just outpatient and I have to monitor her every now and then most especially in giving her the accurate dosage of the meds..Nebulized her also on time made her calm and breathe with ease.
There were days and nights that I lacked sleep (hehe sorry for my eyes its a bit dark and had a bulge eyes latelyπ)
I thank God for giving me the chance to think correctly, because I have been drained for how many days of attending my baby, and not getting enough sleep..
I'm just grateful that my baby's back on her good appetite and she asking a plate of chocolate porridge (champorado)and a camote cue as her snacks..It felt so much delightful as a mother that she wanted to eat all of her favourite foods.
Im just hoping that tomorrow in her follow up check up,phlegm in her lungs will already be cleared up and that she'll become a well baby again..
This would be all for now and I'll update you on my next blog journey..Byeππ½ππ½π
