Greetings everyone,
Today was a very busy day. Last November 24 was supposedly both of my in-laws birthdays but sadly we are very short of the budget. My spouse together with his siblings decided to contribute each one just to have a surprise late birthday celebration since their salary was released on the 25th and so they just celebrate it on today Saturday so their youngest sibling could surely attend because it is the weekend and she won't have a class.
As part of the family, we made a plan to surprise them but then it's very hard to hide so right this day we just told them that we're going to have a small party for their birthday and we're preparing food like traditional Lechon and other Filipino dishes and fortunately, even though we cannot see that their surprise we can still see their happiness in their faces.
This morning we woke up very early just to prepare for the celebration each one has a task to do in enable to finish the preparation just on time for lunch. After the busy hours preparing for the stuff some visitors, neighbours, friends and relatives started to come over to celebrate with us. When the food was all ready and everything was set we sing for the celebrants a happy birthday song, gladly one of my sisters-in-law handed a cake to our father without his knowledge that was then a surprise too.
We let him pull up the ribbon and money came out from it, we can see how happy papa was while pulling. Next, we made mom a prank that she'll have to ask the half of the money from the surprise since she never likes to be surprised and so we go on with the celebration for a while and later we made another surprise for her.
A money bouquet was given to her and she seems so happy with it but she doesn't like to be photographed but gladly she allows later on.
I've been with them for almost 10 years and I don't know about her she doesn't like to be photographed always.
Today's celebration made their family history honestly it's been the first time that they made a complete family picture and their parents the first time having a big celebration like this.
If you can't find me. I was their photographer this time and to be honest, I feel happy and sad in the same time for the reason that I never had a family picture with my parents (ðŸ˜ðŸ’”) but it's okay, I need to accept that life is unfair sometimes.
