The objective of cleaning is not just to clean , but to feel happiness living within that environment. -Marie Kondo
Hello lovely hivers, will be sharing a short but appreciative experience together with my sisters as we cleaned the chapel since it's been a while that we didn't visit the place and I noticed that many insects were bothering the beauty of the chapel,so even for a short time we spent our time to clean the chapel first. So come and join me , let's read this new blog together. Enjoy reading!
It was 4 pm in the afternoon when my mother told my sister to buy milk, she was about to leave when I decided to go with her because I wanted to feel the atmosphere and see the view in the surroundings. Honestly, I prefer to stay at home and have bond with my siblings rather than to go out unless I have important things or appointment to do and if someone close to me wants to travel around.
As we're on our way , we stopped at the chapel and eager to checked inside if everything was alright. At first sight , I thought the place was all good but when I came closer and closer, I saw many insects inside of it . The floor has so many dirt, the curtains was scattered all around and it had many insects in the table, floor, curtains and even at the corners of the chapel. Meanwhile,I told my sister to proceed to the store to buy and get the key of the chapel.
Way back when we are having the rosary we always clean the chapel before leaving but whenever we go back here it's always has dirt in the surroundings until someone told us that sometimes there are cats and dogs who get inside and lie down to the different areas of the chapel like above or under the table, on the floor or even in the altar that can mess the area since it has many ways for them to enter. We did everything to spot their ways to get inside but the door and wall was not so closed so they still have the freedom to access .However,we still manage to clean the place and maintain its beauty.
I waited for only a few minutes until my sister came back since the store was not far and my 6th younger sister also came.Without wasting our time, we immediately cleaned the surroundings. I searched some rag to wiped the dirt on the altar first ,my sisters was also busy removing the insects on the curtains also at the floor, wiped the dirt on the chairs one by one ,etc.
After wiping the floor and finished my task I saw my sister counting the insects until her elder sister joined, they are having fun with it and I only gave them time since it don't bite and we also played it on our childhood,we called it "bakukang" a Visayan term. Since it has many legs , we removed the others and tied it's one thin legs with a long tie and spun it around until it flew .
Meet this two little girls who love to take selfies everywhere they go or whatever they do so we took some.
After all, I almost forgot to turn on the lights before leaving until my sister reminded me however she's still the one who do it since she volunteered .I waited her outside but I noticed that the breaker is not working so I decided to go there and fixed it . After all, I locked the chapel and arranged the chairs outside.
As we are about to leave, I saw lovely flowers above the tree , I looked at them and decided to take some pictures. While doing it my phone suddenly rang, it was my father so I answered the phone and told him the whole details since he had been asking a lot of questions .After the conversation, we decided to go home for the reason that my said he would call back again and we must already at home. We decided to keep the key and monitor the chapel day by the day since it was assigned to us and through this way we can maintain its beauty and manage the place.
