Good day hivers, this is your again. It's so nice to see people helping each other to welcome one of the special events, which is the fiesta. Fiestas are annual celebrations honoring patron saints , filled with a variety of activities, such as parades and religious rituals like masses and prayers. There are also performances that entertain the crowds , depending on the shows that people in their barangay like or have talked about. Many vendors sell various foods , clothes, shoes, toys, and more, and some even offer games for people to play. Fiestas also gather families , relatives and friends to share meals and strengthen bonds.
I've wanted to go to many fiestas in the past, but for some reason , they always got delayed. So I didn't expect to be able to go to a place where there was an event like this again. The reason why I wanted to attend was to enjoy and see how they celebrate such occasions , and I'm so happy that Niño and I decided to go there.
As expected for such a festive event, large crowds are anticipated, so as we were on our way, we encountered numerous parked vehicles lining the streets. We also noticed various venues with tables and chairs are neatly arranged. It was clearly prepared for some guests or providing catering services.
When we arrived at the exact place, which had lots of merchandise and games , there were so many people. We parked the motorcycle we were riding, but we were hesitant to go straight into the crowd, so we went to another place where there was peace and not too much noise. We also had a friend who went there with us.
We're finally headed to TCM. The surroundings are so spacious and calming , with rows of coconut trees swaying gently in breeze. It's a welcome escape from the usual hustle and bustle. This place feels like a perfect spot, a true escape from the chaos of everyday life , that's why I never get tired of coming back, especially since Christmas is approaching, it will be even more beautiful. We only stayed here for just a few minutes , waiting for the sun to set before returning to the venue. As they finished their conversation, we decided to head back.
When we returned, the number of people had grown , and the vendors had also increased. We went to the shops to buy food. Niño volunteered to buy it, so I had a chance to take pictures. When Niño returned, he brought a mango shake and popcorn. This is what we often buy, it is very delicious and the taste of the shake is sweet, I also like the cheese mixed with the popcorn. A little later, we saw our friend there, he is Nico one of our closest friends. We had a little conversation and then he went back to his friends.
Niño also thought of playing a game, we call it "perya". This game involves six different cards, you'll just guess which card you think the ball will land on since they will drop three balls on it. His first game was already won, but the shocking part was that even his winnings were taken by someone else and did not want to return them. We hardly spoke anymore because someone else came and they left immediately. We had no choice but to accept it and decided to be more alert next time.
After all, we decided to go home. We didn't get to say goodbye to Nico in person because he also had a place to go , we only said goodbye through text. While traveling , we were a bit quiet, I was thinking about what happened and wondering if he was thinking the same thing. After a few minutes of silence , I thought about opening up another topic so that we could both relax and not think negatively about the incident at the game.
In life, it's not always happy and peaceful, there are also things that disappoint us. We didn't expect those things to happen , but we still chose to accept and learn from it. The important thing is to find the strength to move forward and learn that every setback is an opportunity for growth.
