Brigada Eskwela is an annual event held before starting each school year. It is an essential tradition that marks the beginning of the school year. This is not just a cleanup, it is a collaborative effort that welcomes the students back to a refreshed and renewed learning environment. This tradition serves as a welcoming act for students and the crucial first step to meet new academic year. The enhanced school environment contributes to a more peaceful and positive learning environment.
Hello world, hola hivers good day!!! It's , and I'm happy to share another life experience. This blog is all about the Brigada Skwela of my fourth younger sister. She's studying daycare this school year 2025-2026. So we spent time in cleaning up her school, together with other student's guardians to contribute a better learning environment.
My family don't have our own service that we can use whenever we have an important trip and we also have a bit of difficulty finding a ride because others aren't always free, so we have to find another vehicle just to get to our destination. Fortunately , I was lucky that my aunt was going to the same location and took me with her. The area we were going to was the school where my siblings studied, from my elder sister to my fourth younger sibling except me. Yes, I was the only one who went to a different school during daycare because I had more neighbors and relatives who were also studying in other schools.
When we arrived at the school, there were people starting to clean different parts of the school such as cleaning inside the classroom, in the cr, on the side, behind and in the kitchen. They have a small kitchen because it's already their tradition to have feedings and it depends on the teacher when to do it. The front area were so clean and we didn't know where else to clean but we noticed that there was still a little trash on the side that I think the previous cleaner had a hard time picking up so he/she just left it. It was also a bit muddy and rocky so it was difficult to remove. Later, everyone was called because there was still a meeting so we immediately went in and arranged the tables and chairs so the meeting could begin.
To maintain the cleanliness of the room , we are required to leave our slippers or shoes outside. It is to make sure a sanitary and comfortable environment for everyone. This simple act helps to avoid dirt and dust, contributing to a cleaner and more pleasant space for all.
The meeting flowed smoothly and efficiently. The teacher began by outlining the topics for the meeting including the schedule of classes, requirements materials, registration , monthly dues, the feeding program, and other matters. After the discussion, the election of homeroom officers followed. The voting took longer due to some disagreements but eventually, we successfully completed the election and ended the meeting successfully.
Our appointment ended quickly so my aunt and my companion immediately got ready to go home. The sun was starting to get hotter because it was around 10 o'clock. I thought I would look for another vehicle to go home because my aunt had a walk and she said that she would go straight there after the meeting. So at first, I thought it would take me a long time to get home because it would be difficult to find another vehicle since the road toward us was not one-way. If I were to take a ceres or bajaj, I would just stop in Candangas and walk for a few minutes before finally getting home. But the unexpected delay of my aunt's appointment became a blessing . It meant, I wasn't left stranded in the fierce heat, searching for another transportation. Instead, I found myself having a ride home together with her and our neighbors. The sun was getting hotter, yet, I'm still glad that we went home straight.
