Classes had already started, new classmates, new lessons, friends and teachers were going to meet. Some students were excited and thrilled but some were not ready and wished for a longer vacation. However, we couldn't stop what the implementation would be, all of the students can do is to face their new journey and persevere knowing that their hard work would eventually pay off.
A blessed day hivers! How's everyone? I hope you are all doing well. This is again excited to share another journey with my younger sister. Enjoy reading!
I am a girl who loves to explore and try new things , until my parents wanted me to take care of my sibling in just a week as she started studying daycare. But when her first day of school came, my mother wanted to accompany her.
I started accompanying her on her second day of school. I thought it would be hard for me to teach her since some students were also guided by their guardians. Well I had passion in teaching, this is the first course I've wanted to pursue when I was elementary. But when I grow older, different courses change my mind that confused me of what I've really wanted to pursue. But now that I'm also helping my siblings doing their tasks , my passion in teaching has come back and I was thinking about pursuing this kind of course when I proceed in college.
They also had everyday routine and it's nice to see the children starting to discipline themselves slowly, even just a small act can make big difference. Everyone cooperates and I saw the guardians also teaching their children what to do. Since they are still young, it's normal that they still need guidance in doing things, that's why just like what others did I also helped my sibling. However, I'm so glad because she is so hardworking. Every time her teacher wanted them to write, she was so alert and did the task immediately and just smiled at me as a sign that she's okay and loved what she did.
I'm so proud of her as I witnessed her improvement day by day. She always adopts new techniques in doing things better and after her teacher checked her works she ran towards me while waving her paper, hugged me tightly and proudly showed her achievement.
This is their daily routine, attendance, flag ceremony, coloring, writing and other performance tasks that would be checked by her teacher. And of course, the snacks won't be missed, it's part of the schedule 😅. She loved sharing her snacks and it was so heartwarming. When my last day of being with her at school came which is Friday, I got emotional and started to cry but I encouraged myself to stop since there's a lot of people inside. It's just that I can't imagine not being with her in her daycare's journey. I wanted to guide her and take care of her until she completed this level. But it won't happen, we're not able to go with her for now due to some reasonable concerns. But I'm still hoping that I'll be able to accompany her again.
As what I've promised to her, I bought her ice cream as a reward for all the hard work she did and for always making me happy and proud.
Even just a simple reward can satisfy the children. No matter how much it costs as long as we can offer them something, it meant so much to them. This journey reminded me that even the smallest acts of support and love can have the biggest impact , not only shaping a child's life but also on our own. It's also important to show our full assistance to our loved ones and to be present in their lives, celebrate their successes, offering a listening ear and a helping hand whenever needed.
