The school year 2025-2026 is nearly ending . The daycare students started practicing for their upcoming graduation. A start for their little achievements that they can carry and apply to their next grade levels. The path that has shaped them little by little and will help them learn and grow continuously for the brighter future.
As a companion to my sibling, I can say that she has learned a lot. She has acquired new skills, strategies , and knowledge that I'm sure she can apply in her next journey. At first, I thought accompanying her would be a bit hard since some of the kids were hardheaded, but then I remembered that she's my sister , who is kind and understanding like me—kidding aside, HAHAHA.
For their first practice, the teacher asked the assigned student who would lead the Pledge of Loyalty, so the other students could repeat after him. Next, they practiced the proper way of receiving their diplomas. The teacher asked the students one by one to come in front for the individual practice, since diplomas are distributed individually.
The next day, they started practicing for their doxology and graduation song. The teacher taught them the actions for the doxology entitled, "Sign of the Cross". In a few minutes, they proceeded to the graduation song entitled, "I'm ready to go". This song is energetic and jolly encouraging the students to dance lively and happily, and enjoy themselves.
Watching them from the side made me remember when I was still a student. I miss practices, dancing together with my colleagues, having performances and many more activities. These experiences tied us together, creating stronger bonds, laughter and even lasting memories. Even though some memories were not good, sometimes there were conflicts, this never diminished the happiness and memorable moments we created together. We are now on different paths, but those memories will stay forever. Even though some of us are far from each other , I'm always rooting for them and hoping for their success.
