So here we are building the different custom mobile suits piloted by Char Aznable in the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
While I did not start with the grand daddy Gundam series as my first foray into the Gundam Universe was Gundam Wing but definitely afterward I consumed all series I could get my hands on.
Char Aznable born Casval Rem Deikun and has also gone by the name Édouard Mass is an ace pilot and tactician of the Principality of Zeon. He is a complex individual who has become a main antagonist and protagonist in the original Gundam series but was also in Zeta Gundam and my favorite Char's Counterattack.
He is characterized by wearing a mask and his red colored mobile suits because he is often called the Red Comet.
He has piloted different custom mobile suits and for this build we have the Z'Gok Amphibious mobile suit.
Characterized by rounded design that looks like a deep sea diver and the signature mono eye of the Principality of Zeon mobile suits.
Often used to fighting in the oceans and rivers they often would ambush ships and other mobile suits with their torpedos and sharp claws ripping apart hulls and armors.
The kit comes with about four runners containing the parts.
It has segmented arms and legs ending with stubby hands and feets.
It was a simple quick build as it had its dome shaped head that fits snugly into its body. I colored the mono eye though because it was a light colored pink and so I decided to color it a deeper red.
It had two stickers one going to the aforementioned eye and the silver diamond in the center of its chest.
The last part that I made were the two "oxygen tanks" which are actually the torpedos to take down bigger ships, mobile armors and other high profile targets.
It definitely was giving diver vibes with it.
It also had smaller torpedos that it could fire from its dome head.
Unlike other more complex kits this did not have other armaments and once it exhausts its torpedos it would go close combat and rip enemies with its claws.
Overall it was a nice start with the "Red Series" that I am to build this year.
