Last May the small village of my grandparents had a fiesta celebration honoring the Saint of the chapel.My family joined the fiesta were we help cooking the foods.
It was a tradition in our family were we would help my grandparents for the preparation for the fiesta 2 days before the fiesta we had general cleaning in the house.
For our foods we had Letchon the famous food that mostly filipino cook everytime there are gatherings and celebration.
The boys in the family are assigned to cooked the letchon while the girls are assigned to cooked other recipes.
We cook pancit,lumpia and meat.These are the filipino foods that is usually cook during fiesta.
When the evening came the visitors arrived and we where busy serving the foods as well as entertaining them.After it,when the visitors already leave we already had the time to join the celebration of the village.
They had a Disco Party for their activity. I wasn't in the mood to party so I just sat beside the DJ's tent watching the people had fun.

My friends house is also around the village so I visited her.In their house there are prince and princess for the fiesta preparing their selves.There are also makeup artist.
Here's a little background of prince and princess.
The coronation night is a tradition activity in philippines during fiesta celebration.Were the village will have a coronation night for the prince and princess.In choosing the prince and princess the candidates will offer a money and those candidates who have the higher money will be the prince or princess.
