Hello,bonjour my lovely reader’s, your melcakes is back with another blog! It's been a long time since I last posted my blog.How's life guys?I hope everyone is doing fine!Let me share to you guys one of my unforgettable moments of my life .
For the past days and months since i turned to college everything is new to me and its like I am back to zero from finding a new friend,and adjusting to the new environment.
As the months past by I was able to create a family inside our school campus which is my SYS dance group because of them I am able to find my interest in dancing again and was able to experience the things that I never expected to be the one of the best memories that I cherish.
Our group was invited to perform in a big event in our municipality which is the "Suroy-suroy Sugbo"where many tourist will visit the municipality including the Governor and one of the famous artist in the country to witness how joyful the people in the municipality and of course to taste the municipalities food delicacies.
We put our efforts and time preparing for the event to the point that our coach collapsed because of her acid even though he feel sick that day he push through to practice and because of that I see the passion he has for dancing as well as the members.
The day before the event after our classes we proceed to our dance practice in which lasted in 12 pm.I see everyone's faces –tired and exhausted and I never heard any complain,they still plastered a smile on their faces and trying to hyped everyone.
Everyone doesn't have much energy for the practice so we decided to go home and thankfully we have a service since our homes are far away to the municipality the transportation from municipality to our house takes 30 minutes.
The day came and our call time was early since we still have rehearsal to the event place and we would also do our own make up for the event.
The events theme is carnival where there are rides in the event including ferris wheel and of course the carnival theme wouldn't be possible if there is no joker also they had a food stall in which all of their food are free, a big balloons and the very aesthetic Comfort Room(CR) catched everyone's eyes.The Comfort room(CR)has a colorful big mirror outside and inside the CR,If you will enter you can feel the vibe of nature and a party place , I'm sure who ever use the CR will get to dance because of the disco lights and I can say that their CR is really giving!.From what I've observed the events theme color is red and white.
When the visitor came we we're assigned to dance to the entrance and welcome them.Despite of the hot weather,the smile on our faces never disappear.One time while I am greeting everyone,one of the tourist wiped the sweats in my forehead and I remembered she says"oh,you have a lot of sweat in your face" and I was like awhhh☺️.I felt overwhelmed by her action.Suposedly we will performed 2 dance presentation but unfortunately the event ended early since the visitors had to go in another municipality to visit.
The tourist really enjoy the event and of course to the food that the municipality offered.During the event we are able to hug and danced with one of the famous actors,actress and singer in the country.
It was such a privilege to be invited in this kind of event.Thankyou to my SYS family who gave me the confident to be back in dancing,who welcome me with open arms,and who help me to grow as a dancer.
