To be content doesn't mean you don't desire more, it means you're thankful for what you have but patient for what's to come.

Hello, beautiful Ladies of Hive!🤗 I'm here once again to accept the challenge of to participate in this week's challenge and I'm more than glad I'm doing this one more time!
If you have read my previous blog which was my entry in the other week's contest, I mentioned the place I would like to have a trip to this year. I was actually talking about Japan since it had been my dream to go on a trip to this country and experience visiting the awesome and must-see destinations here!
For this week's challenge, I chose to answer this question:
Where would you like to be in five years? Where do you see yourself?
Whether financially capable or not, I'd rather stay and live in the Philippines, my homeland.
I believe there's no better place than home so what's more beautiful and comforting is to be in the place where you belong.
Here are the reasons why I choose to live in the Philippines:
1. Simple Living with Family
The simplest and most comfortable life I believe best for me and my family is my own country. It is because of our strong family ties. Caring and concern for one's family are always a priority. We always find being with the family the happiest place in the world even if it meant we have to struggle to support and care for each other until we grow older. In other words, I couldn't find any other place in the world where the support system is as strong as I have with my own family.
2. Living with Wonderful People
When it comes to the warmth of friendship and camaraderie, I should say I have found the most suitable surroundings I dreamed of. I don't dream to be with the richest and most elegant-looking people in my life. Neither I like to be in a place foreign to me where I might only experience discrimination and prejudice. What I need are those people who are genuine and true!
That despite the hardships and obstacles, positivity and optimism still radiate even in the face of challenges, and still afford to smile and be happy.
3. Getting to Enjoy Festivities and Celebrations
Another thing that makes living in the Philippines more fun and enjoyable is the festivities and celebrations because of faith and religion.
In these special events, almost all locals in a certain village or town usually have their own preparations at home. It's their own way of giving thanks to God through the intercession of the patron saint in their place for the blessings received.
The spirit of hospitality is usually manifested especially during these celebrations. The Filipino host naturally provides food and entertainment to the guests and sees to it that everyone that enters the house leaves with a full stomach. This even means having the welcomed visitors take home pasalubong or souvenirs.
Different foods prepared in the host's house are usually the native delicacies in the place of which the host is most confident and proud.
Not only that we became full because of the warmest hospitality that the host had shown but we were also able to bring home their special native delicacy called "budbud kabog".
Budbud kabog is the local word for suman, the Filipino word for a type of native cake. Kabog milled is used to make cakes, which are the color of a bat (the literal meaning of kubog). The ingredients used to produce budbud kabog are produced locally in Cebu, in the centrally located Visayas Islands in the Philippines where the delicacy originated. Budbud kabog has a distinct texture and flavor, different from the usual rice native cakes that are commonly found in the Philippines.

4. The Beauty I Couldn't Afford to Let Go
There are still many beautiful and must-visit tourist destinations I haven't explored and discovered in the Philippines that's why in the next five years I would still be here to live and enjoy my life.
With these reasons, I should say I'm thankful for what I have now but it doesn't mean I don't desire more. Instead, it means I'm more than patient for the beautiful things to come!
This is all for today's blog guys! And, I'm glad to have shared with you my thoughts and opinions regarding the topic for this week's challenge.
Thank you for reaching this far once again and may you have a wonderful day!
See you again in my next blog!
