Good day Hivers!
I’m just so happy for today cause I’m able to be part of the event at the most prestigious museum here in the Philippines which is the National Museum.
Actually, I didn’t expect to be part of it I just scrolling through my Meta feed and then I saw their announcement and I immediately signed up for the said event luckily, after a few days I got an email stating that I am one of the lucky participants that given a chance to participate in the hunt.
This is my first time in this kind of event so I don’t have any idea how it works I said to myself that I will just enjoy the game.
There are 3 categories for every museum.
The Museum of Natural History
The Museum of Anthropology
The Museum of Fine Arts
I chose the Fine arts simply because among these 3 museums, this one is my favorite.
The participants gathered together and the facilitator gave us mechanics on how to play it.
The rule is to find the title of the artwork and which gallery the artwork is located in, there are paintings and sculptures so we need to be more focused. We need to finish it before we ran out of time
I started hunting at 4th flr. where the sculptures are located and I found 2 artworks.
The next artwork will be easy now because all of it is paintings and I'm sure that they are all located from the 3rd floor to the Ground floor, The hunt became difficult cause there are a lot of students doing an exhibit.
This is the last work that I found I check my phone and I only have 4 minutes left so I run till I reached the booth the facilitator checked my answer and after a few minutes of waiting she announced my score and I was glad that I got the perfect score and that makes me eligible for the prizes.
This new set of postcards, pins, and bookmarks bear the hashtags #KitaKitaSaNMP and #TayoTayoSaNMP, highlighting the Museums as safe spaces for learning and expression this #IMD2023.
I enjoy it so much! never experienced this before and yeah I'm so grateful to be part of this activity and will participate next year for sure lol!
Have a good day fellas, thanks for dropping by.
Peace out! 🤙
