“In family relationships love is spelled t-i-m-e, time.”
—Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Time is precious, time is important. Spending time with family is one of the most remarkable things which cannot be equated with any material things in this world. My time with my family matters most.
At home, I have assigned my kids to different home chores. It is one of the ways of teaching them to be self-reliant, independent, and prepared for adulthood level. When they were still young, aged 4-6 years, they already have their household tasks. This is their preparation for handling their responsibilities. In the future, they can do it on their own because no one will do it for them.
The morning was fine, my eldest daughter hung the washed clothes on the clothesline. While my second child washed the dishes and afterward fried the chicken as our viand for breakfast. Everyone in the house has his/her tasks done.
Since we are all on vacation mood except my husband who is always busy with our little grocery store here, I decided to take a date, bond as one happy family, and have dinner outside. This is one way of rewarding my children for the job well done in their academics, and for doing everyday errands at home. It's the perfect time to bond outside.
Off for Reward, Fun and Date
Off we went to Bogo despite the gloomy weather in the afternoon. It was raining cats and dogs but still we pursued. Nothing can hinder the excitement of our children because we can only bond outside once in a blue moon. We went to one of the department stores in the City of Bogo to look for a cellular phone shop because I’m planning to buy one for myself.
Congratulations to myself! I have bought a new phone so I can have clearer photos to use for my blogging. I felt ecstatic at this moment, I have rewarded myself which I deserved.
The Precious Moment
Family is love, and family is everything. Spending quality time with my family can build our stronger relationship, our love, our bond, and our connections to one another. To have a more healthy relationship, I asked them for a dinner date at Cheongdam Charcoal Gue. At first, I was hesitant thinking that this will be too expensive but upon hearing the reactions of my loved ones, my doubts were replaced with eagerness. What is money to the happiness of my kids?
This was our first time stepping into this sophisticated Korean Restaurant. As we reached their ground floor, we were all amazed that we will be using the elevator in going to the second floor. All of the establishments in Bogo, City don’t have elevators only this well-designed restaurant. We opt to use the elevator and have fun taking photos.
As we got inside, all of us were in awe! A jaw-dropping ambiance welcomed us all. We are not fond of eating too expensive and classy eateries thus, we were all innocent about this. I was palpitating because I don’t have any ideas about their styles. But thanks to my husband, he knows a little bit. He did the grilling.
All of the foods served were peculiar to us except the pork, we haven’t tried any Korean foods yet. I and my children were first-timers. Since my husband has tasted some of these foods served, she gave us ideas regarding the taste. Eating together is gratifying.
The peals of laughter from our children made our mealtime amusing. I saw the happiness and the enjoyment reflected on their faces. Due to our busy schedules, we cannot eat together as one family, but this time it was fulfilling.
After spending time together as a family, and creating remarkable memories that are lasting, we decided to have a quick glimpse at Bogo’s port area, then afterward to their plaza. But before we left, we were told by their staff to go upstairs for another beautiful view to be looked at. Once again we were excited to explore this spectacular restaurant.
We took another photo opportunity so we can have pictures of memories of having a good time with one another. Then we headed to their port to have a more refreshing and relaxing mood.
We had a quick glimpse at Bogo plaza. A lot of people were strolling, lying on the ground, having photoshoots and children around were having fun. The colorful Christmas in Bogo was back. After 2 years of being slaved in the pandemic, here they are soaring up high. Everything was incredible. We never wasted our time because we were having super-duper fun.
My children were enjoying themselves to the fullest same as we do, their parents. We are very grateful to God we had this implausible night. We were delighted that we had bonded. We went home at 8:30 in the evening with happy smiles on our faces. We made the most of the time bonding with one another. We are showing our love to our children thru this simple act and making sure to spend happy time with them.
Time is priceless, we have to value it because we cannot turn it back again.
