Hey friends! Wanted to share our day at Sabang Beach in Baler my crew and i went there and the ocean was so good! The water was warm like taking a bath in the sea but better. There were small waves that tickled your feet when you stood up.
We saw tons of bangkas (traditional boats) out there some fishermen were rowing them slowly others were just floating around like they were having a break. The beach was packed with peoplekids were splashing like crazy running around with plastic buckets. Some friends had set up tents under the palm trees.
And there were even dogs joining in the fun! One dog was chasing a stick someone threw into the water and it looked so happy when it swam back up. I jumped right in salt water stung my eyes a little but it was worth it. Floating on my back i just stared at the sky.
It was so blue with a few white clouds that looked like cotton balls. We brought snacks in a cooler that we buried under the sand fresh mangoes (so sweet!) dried fish and cold Coke in cans. Every time we took a bite of mango the juice dripped down our chins, and we had all laugh.
As the sun started to go down the sky turned pink and then orange. Everyone on the beach stopped what they were doing no one was on their phones anymore. We just sat there watching the sun sink into the water. It was so quiet except for the sound of waves crashing and kids shouting.
One of my friends tried to catch a crab in the tide pools those little guys are fast! They scurry away when you get close but he managed to spot one hiding under a rock. We also found colorful shells some were white some had brown stripes and one was even pink.
The sand was soft under our feet even when we stepped on the rocky parts (it tickled a bit). By the time we left the sky was dark but the moon was so bright it lit up the water like a mirror. We walked back to our ride still talking about how much fun we had.
Nothing beats a day at Sabang Beach in Baler no stress just good company good food and the ocean. If you ever need a break from life go there. It will make you feel fresh again. Until next time friends keep chasing those sunsets at Sabang! 🌊✨
