The D.Buzz Team here in Davao City is now preparing for the free merchandise that will be given to selected individuals who will be attending the highly anticipated FrolicBlock blockchain event in Southern Philippines this coming June 9, 2023.
Chris Rice the co-founder of D.Buzz made some preparations for the merchandise and as members of the D.Buzz community here in Davao City, we are given the chance to try it for ourselves.
Merchandise Released to D.Buzz:
The first batch of D.Buzz merchandise was delivered to Chris Rice Rice two days ago and during our visit to Jack's Ridge, one of the famous tourist and dining destinations here in Davao City were seen wearing the merchandise.
The Hive merchandise prepared by Chris Rice is intended for the FrolicBlock Event in Mati City, the hottest blockchain gathering in Southern Philippines, that will be held in Dahican Beach, Mati City.
The FrolicBlock event is brought to us by The Mad Project in collaboration with the Davao Defi Community (DDC) and with the able support of the Local Government of Mati City.
The venue of the FrolicBlock event will be held at the Menzi Resort in Dahican Beach, which is geared by the local government to be the ultimate destination for any Web3-related convention, gathering, or any activities promoting the white sandy beach as not only a tourist destination but also a crytocurrency hub in the Philippines.
Aside from the preparations made by Chris Rice with regard to the merchandise that will be distributed during the event, he is also busy preparing for his speech promoting D.Buzz while his co-founder is also preparing for his demonstration about Hive.
Hive and D.Buzz are one of the primary sponsors of the FrolicBlock Event which is expected to gather more than 2,000 blockchain enthusiasts from different parts of the country and most of them will be coming from the Mindanao Region of the Philippine Island.
According to Chris Rice, he will distribute not only the Hive and DBuzz merchandise but he will also distribute the 3Speak merchandise provided by 3Speak themselves.

Aside from the Hive merchandise, Hive's most popular video-sharing site, 3Speak merchandise will be available at the Blockchain event venue. The video-sharing platform 3Speak which allows users to easily share their world with video, engage with the community, and be rewarded, provided at least 73 shirts for a total of 400 HBD.
3Speak.tv, now considered the most popular video-sharing platform on Hive, is a place where content creators directly own their onsite assets and their communities. Using blockchain technology, the ownership of these assets and communities is intrinsic to the creator and the user, not 3 Speak.
The people behind 3Speak.TV also announced earlier their mobile app is now available both on Google PlayStore and Apple AppStore. According to Hive user 
So far as of posting time, 3Speak App had a total of 100 plus downloads but it keeps coming. The merchandise provided by 3Speak to D.Buzz for the preparations of the FrolicBlock event costs some money to the team but according to Chris Rice, it's his own way of giving back to the Hive community.
Chris Rice, the founder of D.Buzz for his part shelled out an unspecified amount of funds from his own pockets just to buy the D.Buzz merchandise which is around 20 Polo shirts. The average price of all the merchandise is at $6.00, depending on the sizes of the shirts. The price also tends to increase due to inflation.
The organizers of the FrolicBlock event, the Mad Project, and the Davao Defi Community also shared in a private group chat that they will also provide some giveaway merchandise like T-Shirts and caps to the attendees of the event.
This is indeed another exciting event for the D.Buzz community here in Davao City and the collaborations between the Hive ecosystem and other Dapps only prove that Hive is the real Web3 because of its collaboration with various stakeholders and showcasing how real decentralizations really worked.
