A 3-Hour Travel to University: My daughter's entrance exam

Good day, everyone. It’s Hive account@rubenjr back with another story to tell. For today’s blog, I want to share my daughter’s adventure at CTU Main Campus during her entrance exam. My daughter, Hive account@rufajane, is now a graduating student, which means she needs to choose where she will study for college. She chose CTU (Cebu Technological University). After submitting her application form, she received her exam schedule at CTU Main Campus in Cebu City, specifically at R. Palma Street corner M.J. Cuenco Avenue about a 3-hour drive from our place by motorcycle.

We began our travel exactly at 7:00 AM. Fast forward, when we arrived, my daughter immediately rushed inside the campus because she was almost late. Since parents were not allowed to enter, I simply waited outside.

By past 12:00 PM, I wondered why she still wasn’t out, so I called her. That’s when I found out she had gotten lost inside the campus. I told her the name of the gate she originally entered (MJ Avenue) so she could ask students for directions. Luckily, she finally managed to find her way out.

We planned to go straight to a restaurant afterward, but I noticed something was off with our motorcycle. I took it to a mechanic, and to our shock, he told us one of the bolts had loosened, causing the motorcycle to lose control. Thankfully, God protected us the entire trip.

The repair took more than an hour, so we patiently waited even though we were thirsty and hungry. After everything was fixed, we drove to a restaurant to eat. On our way home, we took time to enjoy the scenery and even captured some photos. I even joked around and asked my daughter to take a picture of me drinking Coke and we couldn’t stop laughing 🤣.

Fast forward, we finally arrived home at around 5:20 PM, completely drained from the long day. I immediately went to my room to rest, haha. And that’s all for this blog. Thank you for reading!
